Gary, what the f*ck. Still drive past Verney Street and think of the mad days with you, Rich, Chops and John. Now you have your own, solid, fan base. Fair play mate!
Mr Beautiful lives on . . . . I would run away to GLasgow with Gary Day again and again and again. . . . Oh for those Ealing days, The Queen Vic, beautiful rockabillys everywhere, Gary Day, the most beautiful and the best
I actually got to meet him in El Paso TX in 2002 I believe. Very nice guy... Chain smoker but good guy. I really miss him as a Moz member. Wish they were all back
He let me play his bass after a gig at the Klubfoot basement just before it shut down in '88. Top bloke, seen him along with morrissey loads of times. Keep rockin Gaz!
I thought Moz had the best line-up in the 90's (Gary, Boz, Alain and Spencer...the rock-a-billy versions of "Sing Your Life" and "There is a Place" from the KROQ sessions still rule! Cheers to Gary on his new adventure as well.
Check out Garys earlier stuff from mid-late eighties-he played slap bass for top psychobilly band the frantic flintstones as well as helping out with the sharks & the caravans-Never played with thee best band in the world THE METEORS
FINALLY someone giving gary some credit, nice job!! He's extremely talented playing with moz and w/ his side projects! I miss the (91-93)morrissey line up which was Alain, Boz,Gary,Spencer, i wish it was still like that. Too bad most people don't realize that, and tend to focus more on Morrissey himself, come on if it wasn't for the band MOz wouldn't sound soo great!
haha, not really, most of the clips are from the "Oye Esteban" DVD that has Morrissey music videos, some are from the DVD's that came with the You Are the Quarry and Ringleader of the Tormentors albums, so that's only 3 dvds :)
This was a fun session.

I agree, finally someone paid Gary his respects. Oh yeah and he also played in a neo-rockabilly band in the early to mid-nineties the "Nitros".
Very Good Band!
