  • Canadian, UBC Professor Michael Brauer, also, states that fireplaces are a, very, uncontrolled source of air pollution.

Metro Vancouver area aims to go GREEN and banning wood-burning fireplaces would provide citizens with cleaner air.

Wood burning fireplaces are easily replaced by gas. Seattle USA and Metro Vancouver BC, Canada experience similar weather conditions but Washington State is far more concerned about controlling the air quality. Canada’s West-coast is lacking such control.

  • Dr. Vedal thanks for making this Video. Would it not be best for everyone to have wood burning fireplaces banned? They are more widespread than stoves and are a, very, uncontrolled source of air pollution and a health hazard.

Info from BCLA states that wood smoke is linked to many serious health conditions, Lung and Heart problems including Cancer. Would you please be so kind and make a Video listing all those health hazards. Thank you!

    And thank you, You Tube!
