The sex of the employee isn't part of the hiring data, it's part of the statistical data. There is no substantive misrepresentation. Take gasoline for example. If Shell accidentally fills the regular tank with super, it's no problem because you are getting a higher grade than what you are paying for. However, if they sell you regular at super prices? That is substantial misrepresentation.
If the applicant was female to male, they'd probably not have a problem as they tend to look like cute males, and its unlikely young male bosses would turn down a cute female transgender or not. Male to female though, the ones I have seen tend to look like transvestites, that is males wearing female clothes, not a pretty sight. If it was an office job etc probably no problem but fronting the public, a good deal of the customers could take one look and walk out. Not good for the bottom line.

Anti-trans violence and discrimination do affect white trans people as well, and it seems it would be even worse for white trans people to ignore POC victims, since their lives should be worth just as much...
Actually this has been discussed recently in blogs of white and PoC trans people leading up to this year's TDoR so the fact that so many of our murdered sisters are PoC isn't being hidden. It doesn't mean white trans people aren't discriminated, it just means trans PoC get it worse because of intersectionality. Rich/poor factors in as well.

the FBI is forbidden by the Hate Crime Statistics Act 1990 from collecting data about trans people. They can only collect data about gays, jews, blacks christians etc.

If you take the list of known anti-trans murders, and look at the dates, you can easily compute an average for how often a trans person is killed. Do we have to teach you basic arithmetic now on top of everything else? If the applicant was female to male, they'd probably not have a problem as they tend to look like cute males, and its unlikely young male bosses would turn down a cute female transgender or not. Male to female though, the ones I have seen tend to look like transvestites, that is males wearing female clothes, not a pretty sight. If it was an office job etc probably no problem but fronting the public, a good deal of the customers could take one look and walk out. Not good for the bottom line.

That's probably a reference to the paradigm "racism = prejudice + power" (which is a useful -- seriously -- academic definition, though not immediately obvious to folks who haven't been participating in the dialogue in fora where that's the dominant definition). The "prejudice[d] yes, but not racist" bit is in line with that usage.

I know black transpeople that have lost jobs due to being trans and I know white trans who have also lost work due to being trans, myself included. it happens to us all. Is it more important to me that whaite trans have lost work or been discriminated against. NO! It horrifies me that it happens at all to anyone. In the past few months I've seen white at POC trans blogs pointing out that we are perhaps too quick to paint a white face on a problem that's killing POC disproportionately, but nobody seems to know the appropriate thing to do about it yet. Actually this has been discussed recently in blogs of white and PoC trans people leading up to this year's TDoR so the fact that so many of our murdered sisters are PoC isn't being hidden. It doesn't mean white trans people aren't discriminated, it just means trans PoC get it worse because of intersectionality. Rich/poor factors in as well.
I have no idea where this business about Ashkenazi Jews comes in, I've never encountered a Jewish supremacist online or IRL, or heard of such.

the FBI is forbidden by the Hate Crime Statistics Act 1990 from collecting data about trans people. They can only collect data about gays, jews, blacks christians etc.

You afford Satan that much power? What are you, a Manichean? (Trans people aren't "mistakes", and forcing them to pretend not to be trans is treating them as if they were. Mammals have hairy legs; humankind has invented razors (and wax, and ...). And I missed the memo on GBLT being "trendy", but having a chance to breathe *outside* the closet reduces the despair. Ask a gay or trans teen!)

Were you the one griping that trans people 'decimated' gender roles? Are trans folk getting dinged both for shrinking gender roles and expanding them, by the same person? What are you doing, just throwing random arguments against the wall to see what sticks?

Transgender and genderqueer people show more ways of being male or female, genderqueer people show that there are more options than male and female, transsexual people show that there's more than one way to get to be male or female, and new horizons are opened up beyond those narrow little boxes where cissexist society expects men and women to act like cardboard cutouts of themselves. Face it, girlfriend, you cis people *need* us to keep you from turning into Rambo-bots and Stepford wives.

Lady, have you ever _been_ a gay or trans teen trying to cope with a culture that calls you a freak, afraid to express yourself? Trust me, madame, the depression and despair are a lot less when it's safe to open the closet door. If you care about the kids, if you have a SHRED of human decency and want to reduce teen suicide, you'll support making schools safe places for GBLT teens to come out.
Otherwise you're not just clueless, you're downright evil, and doing Satan's work.
