Check out Samples albums from the early 90's; The Last Drag, Autopilot, No Room, you'll see Al was the keyboardist then. Also search The Samples on you tube and look at earlier videos. You'll recognize Al Laughlin.

Definitely Al Laughlin on keyboards. DMB opened for The Samples this night. Karl Dietel didn't join The Samples until at least 2004.

yes, either 9/18 or 9/19. DMB opened for "Tragically Hip" and "The Samples"... they played Billies, One Sweet World, Granny, Typical, and Ants Marching.
