  • You ought to pick up some strippers and see how much time ya save. How come you guys didn't think of that?

  • I took a 9130 and turned it into a M38 and I love it . I kept it looking just like the M38 and it is the perfect size a real beast. The sound and flash scares some at the range

  • Damn thats a nice sound.

  • Takes a man to wear a pink hat..

  • That gun sounds authoritative, like a Russian!

  • Gets some stripper clips nutn!

  • What kind of pants and shoes did Buggnet wear in this video? Sorry for stupid question but I'm curious. Brand would be enough.

  • You guys said for iron sights it would be black on black put white out on the front sight it helps you see and if you want to take it off use a wash cloth and it wipes right off it works for me.

  • Bugget is a character...

  • Make sure the round is loaded with the rim in front of the previous round, virtually eliminates the rim lock problem. Most of these problems are user errors and not gun problems.

  • when your rifle locks up like that ... open the floor plate.

  • that sounds awesome

  • is that a synthetic black stock or is that the original wooden painted black? if its the synthetic stock where can i get one like that?

  • @XxXheadhunterx

I believe its an original wood stock.

  • I have a 91/30. i would love to get mine blacked out like this one. I've also been looking into a cheap scope and mount. being a cheap gun I dont want to spend lots of money on it.

  • wouldn't the poor bastards back in ww2 at least use stripper clips?

  • This was my first rifle, particulaly because it is so cheap, but to those who wonder why these guys keep missing should know that the trigger-pull on this pig is HEAVY, making your finger stress extremely high right before the round flies.

  • How do you like the LER? Did you have to tap the gun to put it on?

  • @wontacceptthis Most kits you have to knock out the retaining pins for the leaf spring and rear sight block. My LER is mounted in 1" rings on a milspec rail that's set into the rear sight block

  • i would have thought gun junkies like you would have at least used a stripper clip... btw, lubricate your bolt.

  • @rwallen11 They couldnt get them to function reliably, they always caused problems, and im sure it was.

  • @Kylef7735 unless you own a mosin (which I am sure you don't), your opinion don't mean shit...

  • @rwallen11 He says it in another video, he and bugget could not get the stripper clips to function well, they only binded and caused bigger problems than the slowness of single feeding.

  • The sound of that gun is incredible!

  • rimlock that the only thing i hate about this gun

  • These are so much fun to watch! Always make my day.. You guys are my idols! ^^

  • What mount is buggetnuster running on that Mosin?

  • I have a Nagant and I've never had to slap the bolt.

  • Ach! You duracoated a Mosin M91!? I understand doing it to a 91/30, cause there's no shortage of those (yet), but an M91?

    This makes me sad.

  • In mother Russia you dont fight with gun, gun fight with you! And back in Russia we still have to our wives and there not even a mail order bride! Causes a man to drink lot of cheap vodka!

  • lol....Cadet saving the day! Oh wait.

  • @ HuskerFishing I had that same problem its caused by excess cosmoline on the magazine follower making it stick. Just clean the follower with CLP or mineral spirits and it should work fine.

  • I use to be a Russian mail order bride, then I took an arrow in the knee...

  • @TheMango121 AHEM... no.

  • @TheMango121 no... not on nutn's videos.

  • Wouldn't have to slap it at all if you cleaned it.

  • that bolt looks like it is sticking ALOT. it shouldn't do that in normal operation. be sure you cleaned the bore with special attention where the locking lugs go in.

  • Make sure to COMPLETELY clean the cosmollne out of this gun, try using mineral spirits to soak the bolt, barrel assembly etc.

  • 88 dis lieks =mosin purest

  • @ewkvids dislikes

  • I've had that problem with my mosin not feeding rounds all the way up like he did. I don't know what it is, but i usually just end up shooting one at a time

  • I'm surprised nobody was freaking out after the Auschwitz joke.

  • Great vid. What's funny is that the add to the upper right of the vid screen on the next video I watched after this was for Russian mail order brides! lol

  • @LTrakinat it is a wooden stock, the original one it came with. Nutn duracoated it, it's like spray on epoxy (I think) but it's probably a gunky bore, all that cosmoline.

  • why is your bolt having trouble returning home?

  • how did you mount that scope

  • what vests are those?

  • You know Mosins work 1000% better when you actually CLEAN THEM. I have a '42 91/30, if you need to put THAT much effort into opening the bolt you really need to stop and clean it. Or take a dremel and deburr it or something. Seriously something is VERY WRONG with that rifle.

  • @kixofmyg0t i think its that tat synthetic stock they should have stuck with wooden and no scope

  • @LTrakinat That's not a synthetic stock. It's the original stock, duracoated.

  • do you like the dpms 308 im looking for a good ar

  • I hit targets with mine open sighted at three hundred meters all day, that rifle must be bent, or that red dots off.

  • Would this be a good competition rifle?

  • what kind of recoil pad are you using?

  • Just out of curiosity Nutnfancy. Is the Mosin Nagant, capable of mounting anything other than that red dot? perhaps something with magnification? also, shooting that rifle really gives you a healthy respect for the Russian Infantry divisions that shot that rifle every day, buddy of mine has a Mosin Nagant, and we shoot it all the time out at his property, I love that rifle.

  • @GodOfWar221 They make rails with more real estate than the ones shown here in the video. So yes you can run optics with magnification. It should be enough room for scope mounts. I'll send you some links to some websites buddy, via message.

  • one rule about gun saftey NEVER RUN WITH THE GUN

  • @MrMisery420 You might want to tell every soldier, law enforcement official or recreational tactical shooter that rule then? Universal rule of Gun safety, "if your not trained or in positive control of your weapon, don't do it ". That simple

  • @MrMisery420 Also may wanna tell that to three gun and other competitors. I mean, come ON... Really?

  • Rimlock sucks for sure, thats why I use stripper clips. I know you don't care for them but they improve speed (one can load a clip and run at the same time) and prevent rimlock. Awesome range you were at, all that space looks like fun to use.

  • "Go to the DPMS 308?" Could I ask if we will ever see that?

  • @MyGamer1 my bad was thinking of DPS..

  • cant have too many mosins

  • You had that cadet out so fast! Awesome!

  • helped me alot with your demo cleaning the 22 45 thanks man

  • Buggernuster is hurlin' some big lead.

  • I felt iffy getting my first one, considering it was likely to be haunted by a russian soldier who pillaged germans, It came with the bayonet aswell probably means it was used to sodomize some nazis...

  • buy some stipper clips man, it will cut your reload time in 1/2 if not more.

  • $99 a Big 5. Aug 21 thru Aug 27. Get one while they're cheap!

  • stripper clips! :)

  • my russian mail order bride doesnt take shit off anyone

  • @cunliffe5108 She can throw back more Putinka than you and your friends. She don't take no shit.

  • фрицев on the hill comrades!

  • He's right: That is a cool cloud...

  • You guys couldn't find stripper clips for that ammo? Man I was getting desperate watching Bugget struggling with that Russian bride! But really, that seemed to have been a pain in the ass not to have stripper clips on hand. Albeit, as usual, you guys made it look a ton of fun!

  • @SuspectingCitizen I think nutnfancy mentions in another video that he doesn't use stripper clips because all he can find is the new, cheap ones that tear your fingers apart and don't feed too well. I have found that if I use the nomex flight gloves the army issued me when I got to my line unit, they work great. Also helps prevent rimlock.

  • 81 Russian mail order brides disliked this video.

  • i love you.

  • Long time fan but, really, there's no need for multiple takes on any of these narrations -- certainly not in the final edit. Thanks for all your efforts.

  • make an obrez!!!

  • lol i love it when people pull the bolt back by bitch slapping it :)

  • I know I like reloading my Mosin without strippers, but when I'm getting "Figuratively" shot at, I always have at least 1 stripper clip on my person. As for the rounds not being stacked accordingly in the internal mag, need to work on that PFI.

  • Well, remember, stripper clips were standard issue back in WWII, so soldiers weren't taking a minute and a half to reload their mosins. It was actually quite quick.

  • Nutnfancy, I have to agree I have the mosin nagant carbine and it's a mother to run the bolt. I still love shooting it though

  • What vest is Bugget runing ? I have the name in my head but i cant remember it....

  • @TheGunGarage20

I think it's a Condor Tactical chest rig.

  • @alekm28 I dont think so. Not from the pictures o found.

  • no stripper clips?

  • Rimlock

  • find a mosin m44!!!!

  • come to west virginia...we have thousands of quality 91/30's and m44's in our gun shops and pawn shops :)

  • what did you do to the stock or where did you get it?

  • Also the guns were loaded IRL with stripper clips :-)

  • What kind of ammo were you using ? Lacquered case ammo generally works like crap in these guns, the copper washed steel case ammo usually runs like greased lighting.

  • Ive heard that mosin nagants have sticky bolt problems because the russians stored them with a layer of cosmoline and that if u scrub the chamber out it should fix the problem.

  • my nagant's bolt works just fine

  • Who's running the special of one Russian mail order bride with the purchase of a Mosin?

  • @panzerabwerkanone Cabelas

  • Always good to start off with a joke....

  • Where'd you get that scope, and how'd you mount it?

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun!

  • You guys make this gun look bad you should be ashamed of your self . My daughter can operate her mosin better than you guys. It makes me sick she is only 14 i can not believe this vid .I have watched all of the mosin vids and i did have a pretty good opinion of nutnfancy but now i know the truth. my little girl will shoot 200 rds. by her self and likes it you guys sound like your about to cry. PITIFUL learn the gun first all your vids on the mosin make me sick i think you suck with it

  • @mike1022ls1 Well some refurbs dont work that good.

  • maybe if you would run the bolt more smoothly it would run more smoothly, beech

  • @teamwinstonismad theres no room for prejudice in tnp. leave those words for less respectable channels

  • @Amun960214 yeah thats not specific says millet and s&k want to order the right one

  • I was just wondering, how is this a real 91/30 if in the video you say "produced 1927"? Wouldn't that be before the 1930 revisit?

  • @evildude109 Not necessarily. This gun was re-arsenaled to 91/30 specs in Russian.

  • @nutnfancy Oh, I see. Thanks for the info.

  • nutnfacy what is the model mount and scope on your mosin i want a set up like that

    -thanks

  • Did you try using a stripper clip on the mosin? The setup you got on it is perfect for it..

  • ok, i am seriously wondering who the 80 people are that disliked this video because if your watching nutnfancy and his run-n-gun vid's you must be a gun nut and honestly, how can you not love this vid!!! theye need proffensional help...or to be "slapped like a Russian mail-order bride" HAHA!!!

  • @ultimatehistorybuff1 Thanks much and agreed. They watch, then hate.

  • @nutnfancy that they do! keep on rockin' Nut'n'!!!!!!!!!!!

    -ultimatehistorybuff1

  • @ultimatehistorybuff1 they probably are Russian mail-order brides! that's why the dislike!!!

  • @ultimatehistorybuff1 You guys are hillarious this is the first video of yours that I have seen and you guys would be a blast to hang out with. Oh yeah remember you can never slap a mail order bride too many times they just absolutely love it. On that note would'nt it just be more practical to butt stroke her with that piece of Mother Russian History. Just kidding! Nice VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ultimatehistorybuff1 there are troll and anti guns wh dislike to piss off its sad but what can u do?

  • Man watching this late at night just makes me eager to get out there and bust up some seel with all 3 (yes, all 3 :p ) of my nagants and some bulk ammo! I think i know what i'n doing tommorow afternoon! haha! Life IS GOOD!!!!!

  • what ammo did you use?

  • the sound of that rifle just makes me smile. a nice big BOOM. :D i own one, and i love it!

  • @LukyRemington it may be a slow system, but it still has the power. and for the money? excellent choice. well, for the money, one could buy a very limited amount of choices. and its just wonderful. i'm a college student who wanted to own a firearm, and own an old rifle at that. i got my wish with a mosin that i bought with my own money. i like it. it works. and i haven't had any problems with the bolt. quality varies i guess.

  • might as well try a Winchester and a peace keeper in the sledge hammer too

  • i u havent already you should to this with a mauser

  • you should lube up the bolt...

  • stripper clip??????????????

  • where did you get your stock for the mosin?

  • the reason you might be haveing trouble with your mossin, your suppose to pull the hammer back after each shot... the little nob behind the bolt action...

  • Funny video guys bugget needs more practice----lol slap it like a redheaded stepchild maby shell work lol. Can you use stripper clips at all?were can you buy this type of rifle?

    Love ya guys

  • Nice to see you guys run with a Mosin, good shooting for sure. My '33 Mosin Hex hasn't had any problems with a sticky bolt, crossing my fingers I don't encounter any later on either. Watching you guys shoot though makes me want to get out my Mosin and go to the range - hate not having free time to do it!

  • First of your vids I have seen with Bugget in it... Definitely an entertaining character... Love the vids and hope the best for Allie as she recovers... Keep rockin Nutn, your work is much appreciated!

  • Why does Bugget keep apologizing for the mail order bride comment? is his wife a mail order from Russia ;) ? lol

  • time to oil maybe? that might help with the sticky bolt, and if you really need help some people have instructional vids about how to fix a mosin's sticky bolt

  • is this version of the mosin nagant liiteraly called the 'sledgehammer' ?

cause it looks very bad-ass !

excuse me for my bead english

and greetz from holland ;) !

  • if i ever hear hacksaw and a military rifle name in the same sentence i nearly throwup

  • Gotta get this rifle!

  • I dont get it...

  • Just imagine what it was really like back on the Eastern Front with these rifles! That would really suck if you got rimlock out there cuz you didn't have a stripper clip…

  • Hey Nutn', make sure you take a few Q-tips and toothpicks and clean out the locking lug recesses real good with some #9. There may be gunk that you miss at first glance, mostly because there's so much of it that it looks normal. It should make a big difference though, that and clean out the chamber with a spare brush. One other tip, don't use a .30 cal brush to clean the bore. It's bigger than .30, use an 8mm brush and it'll clean so much more crud out. It's tight, but fits just fine.

  • @SeriesOfTubes101 Great comment, thanks. I did clean out the chamber area fastidiously and I do use tight fitting brushes. I have found each Mosin is an individual and some run smoother than others. Still love them though!

  • What brand scout mount is that? In place of the rear sight leaf?

  • you need to get stripper clips

  • cheapest sledgehammer, ever

  • take it to the car wash and clean the thing all three of mine are smooth as silk if you had one made these days these would be nothing near cheap best bolt made seperate bolt face is way ahead of anything else

  • @shannonandsheila1 Great idea to power wash the inside when taken down. I hadn't thought of that.

  • take it to the car wash and clean the thing

  • My M91/30 bolt is pretty smooth, only have to slap it like a red-headed step child time to time

  • No! Don't cut it! Just buy a carbine (M44, M38) these are historical pieces! There's is good chance that some Russian soldier used this in WWII. This gun is not for cutting up!

  • You know what would be great to see you guys do a "Guns of WW2" run & gun. I think you'd like the action of a Lee Enfield No4 Mk1.

  • Thumbs up for Obama getting Osama!!!

  • You can reduce the amount of force required to bolt the rifle if you shorten the spring in the bolt. It is also safe, so no worries.

  • Like an abused wife bugget, like an abused wife

  • this is why you dont tac a mosin

  • Its alot faster with the proper stripper clips also.

  • whats that stock?????? plz reply

  • Dammit bobby, you don't jam a bolt action rifle.

  • I didn't see any posts about this but where did you get that rear sight mount?? I really like that set up and would like to pick one up. Thanks

  • I love that big horse killing boom it makes. You know you're shooting something with authority.

  • The best thing about Mosin's is that they are dirt cheap to buy and shoot, giving them a huge money to fun ratio. They also make the shooter appreciate the modern weapons we now have. Iraqveteran8888 has a ton of videos on the Mosin rifles, and how to fix common problems for almost nothing.

  • Makes me laugh! Love my 91/30!

SuperJeremy25...."sticky bolt" is quite common. Go spend $125 and get yourself a Mosin and you will see.

  • what a waste of time,to much talk

  • Why is BFI wearing a PINK ball cap?!

  • Comment removed

  • Two words-Stripper Clips

  • Not sure if anyone posted these ideas for cheap ways to greatly improve what you have but i would buy a replacment magazine spring if that failure to feed becomes common the other thought i had is you should check out the sticky mosin nagant videos someone put up its simple and easy and does wonders for the bolt makes it cherry third thought is i would love to see that done with stripper clips a much improved time could be achieved

  • picked one up for $80 bucks two days ago. $80 BUCKS MAN!

  • i love it, being from the south i have millions of sayings and now have another to add to the list, slap that (add whatever) like a russian mail order bride.

  • That was a nasty reference with the bolt slapping.

  • It would be cool to see a Mosin vs K98 vs Enfield vs 03 Springfield vs Arisaka. All Duracoated and all beamed up "Meaning red dot for you not so hip shooters" haha jk. That would be one hell of a shoot!!!!! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! The BIG 5 BOLT GUN BLOWOUT!!!!!!! 5 METERS OR 500 METERS; NO MAN WILL BE LEFT STANDING! FROM STRIPPER CLIPS TO BAYONETS! THIS IS AS DIRTY A WW1 FRENCH TRENCH! FATHERS, GROUND YOUR SONS! MOTHERS, LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS! THIS IS GOING TO BE WROL MADNESS, BOLT GUN STYLE!

  • @kingBPP1947 Please for the love of god do not Duracoat an Arisaka.

  • Hi Nutnfancy check out, customized ''Tactical'' Mosin Nagant and A rifle called ''Fugly'' By Iraqveteran8888
