It's not an illusion. They have the entire first season subbed on Hulu (and I think on this YouTube channel too), and more are on the way. They also said that Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's is getting an online, uncut subbed release, along with all of the animes they get in the future.

i grew up in the WB era; remember animaniacs? fox origionally owned them, then in 1995 WB bought the rights to it and it STILL has a fanbase even today! why? it was origional, well written and funny. we know who sonic is so Sonic X isn't origional. Sonic X was practically rewritten (badly i might add). 5 puns per episode isn't funny...at all...ever...EVER! solution? translate it and LOGICALLY sensor the audio. that's it. easy. cheap. all-around better. don't let entertainment die.

Uhh...4Kids never had any control over the games dude, only the voice acting for a while but then the contract expired and SEGA decided to hire the 4Kids Sonic voice cast as official SEGA voice actors. And the contract has been expired for a while now dude, about 2 years I think.

A lot of the later episodes took major cuts, which was the real complaint of the fans because it altered the story a lot. If sets are released UNCUT and subbed as you have done here, I will buy 100%.

My memory of the Japanese episode is blurry, but I don't remember the opening song playing during that scene, or the Sonic Boom scene. Did you guys do that? It's not a bad thing. Just kind of odd, IMO.

As someone who watched this episode a mere two months ago, I can say the music was left unchanged.

Also, the song playing at the end is in fact the ending Mi-Ra-I. It starts playing seconds before the episode ends.

Anywho, subtitles are fine, though I think it might be better to have them a little bit bigger and not so far up on the screen. Other than that, I think it's fine. Only thing is I really wish you guys didn't have to work from TMS' International Masters. They do save you guys time on editing the material, admittingly.
