I'm about to install Vista on my White MacBook.

I run it on my Pc too, it's not bad it's just that people don't want to take the time to re-install Vista when they buy a new PC (clean install not update)

No. It wouldn't all Bootcamp is, is a partition tool, to divide up your HDD into sectors, one for windows and one for mac.

A mac appears to be more capable of Window's Aero than a PC. But a few problems are that most of my favorite games can only be run on a PC. And no it cannot run on a mac computer. I tried. The disk said it can only be run on IBM Thinkpads.

If you buy a MacBook just ot run Windows is... how to say... amazing, I can't believe it. If you use Windows, just use the applications you need. You can do anything on a Mac.

you are right. Silver is much pretier, but this one is MacBook Pro, which is more expensive. I prefer black one because it has the best performance on the MacBook category (not MacBook Pro).

actually, it all depends. "crappy" is relative. some people like windows cuz it doens't require specific hardware. some like macs for another reason.

i myself use vista (and xp). used macs in elementary school and hated them, cuz they were pretty crappy looking and rather hard to use w/ the weird mouse. however, i'e heard that the new one is pretty nice. hopefully, i'll get to see one soon. but, its all relative ;)

I have a 2.16Ghz Macbook with 1gb of ram myself and it runs very smoothly and I have no problems. :)

Though I'm thinking of dropping 1gb more of ram in it to speed up my application speeds in both osx and vista.

It meets the recommended requirements.

You should probably add one more GB of RAM to it, but you will be fine with what you have. Also, make sure there is enough drive space to do what you want to do in Windows and Mac OS X.

you can run any game I think. I didn't tested any game, but I think you will have no problem with it. To install Windows you must use Boot Camp. If you search in Google you will find it or just you can wait when MAC OS X Leopard will be avalaible.

to select between different Windows, just click Alt button when you start your Mac. You will be able to start boot CD, DVD, USB, Firewire, anything you will have bootable connected to the MAC.

I've just wanted to test Vista, just that. I use Windows XP and MAC. But Vista was only for testing purposes and I wanted to share with all people.

Very cool but do you need to make a partition that's FAT32 so MAC and Vista can read and write to the same repository. Man I used to use that format when I had windows 98!

PS - Leapord delayed because it wants to make sure it's bootcamp with leapord has no issues with Vista.

I installed Windows Vista Ultimate. But you can install any version you want. I've just installed Vista for testing purposes. I prefer to work with Windows XP Professional.

That was the firmware password, similar to a BIOS password on PCs. Once set, it's required to boot from a CD or another HD, such as the Windows partition.
