Face it... :( LS1 Camaros are getting old.... Newer LS2 LS7 etc. leave the LS1 in the Shed. I love 4th gen camaros to death but Im starting to realize those cars are now almost 20 years old. and now they start to have problems and break down and ugh how i wish it was just barely 1999 again. I wish they could just start making the 4th gen bodies again with newer LS series motors in them.
wow my buddy has a 5.7 gto heads and cam and beats 6.0s all the time and i raced him from a dig with my 98 z28 have no idea what motors got but mild cam and i have no second gear and he only had me by a fender balls out lmao
didnt know it was that much of a difference between gto and camaro
i have a 98 Z28 m6 im thinking of doing a port and polish with 1.60 exaust valves and a tune any idea what numbers i should be expecting or a good guess. also does any body else have wrighting on the pass side core suport with production numbers mine say (98 w2689 9-17-98 i know this is the date it was made 9-17-98) any help would be great thnx
@donkeykongblz I have a T-Top 35th Limited Edition SS, so yes from the looks of it that is an LE car. It's the same rims as mine, same badging on the side, same paint scheme except the blacked out flasher's and the spot right above the rear fascia, and the t bar is black and mine is red but all have different options so that doesn't mean a thing. It's an LE.
He's changed the wheels, and added the stripes. I never thought about it, but you're right, all 35th Anniversary Special editions came stock with stripes. The exhaust tips have also been changed to center.
@zanrath12345 I have faced it, lucky I can still fix then as long as they're uni-body frame doesn't fall apart were good ;)

Ethanol is a horrid additive used at the pumps, it is a common problem in toys (especially boats!) so i totally agree...
Use Ethanol fuel treatment and no one should have a problem.
