  • Honda is AMAZING!!!!

  • this is gonnna turn us into those fat asses from wall-e

  • Really awesome tech workplaces should force you to use these

  • I'm not into Asians that much, but that long haired one at the end was pretty attractive, oh yeah, the motorized unicycle thing is neat too.

  • oh boy another way to make Americans fatter

  • @serranojavier99

    >implying obese people would be able to properly balance and shift their weight or even be held up by this

  • Look like the camera is moving around not the machine.. hahahaha

  • the new abb workout machine

  • This would blow away the Segway.

  • they have to power to make this

    but still 240p

  • they should make them bigger for american people, because americans have big fat asses. lol

  • – They should I apply this to their cars that way parking would be automatic and instead of having to do parallel parking it'll just go sideways :)

  • I see the future now..... We all have our own "personal mobility devices," which have their own intravenous Coca-Cola drips systems and McDonalds dispensing units. These vehicles will come complete with telescoping arms so you never even have to stand up. A solid and liquid waste collection system will be built into the Lazy Boy style seating for ease of release. Heart and diabetes medication supplied by Big Pharma will be released into the IV as needed. Grim future.....

  • It's made really creepy by the lack of sound.

  • Yes, an alternative to walking. That's all the obese Americans need.

  • um, if you need assistance moving around, then you probably need assistance carrying this device when your not using it.

  • how you stear, lean, not everyone can do the smooth criminal.

  • It's the office chair of the future! With no lumbar support and expensive self propulsion!

  • Now japanese people can totally silently creep on people.

  • thats kinda creepy... :E

  • "We need to invent something that no-one will use." "I've got it! A Motor-Unicycle!"

  • now anyone can ghost ride the whip

To see more innovative videos like this or want to share your own ideas visit ThinkStageDOTcom

  • The band "OK go" needs a few of these.

  • damn i want one im ready to pay 10$ cash

  • If it won't support, lose weight

  • gay yikebike is beter

  • I'm Getting a vision! BACKPAIN!

  • You could get off it and walk faster...burn some caleries?

  • @TheNoisePolluter LOLOL she doesn't have any calories to burn. This thing looks like it can only support 60 lbs.

  • Super Mobile Lazy Chair!

  • It does look like they are trying to pass a stool....

  • If you have a buissness meeting with another huge companies boss and he's fat(most boss' are) how is he gonna ride this?O.o

  • Or you could, you know...walk.

  • @durkadurka2323 haaaaaaa,yes

  • @durkadurka2323 haaaaaaa,yes

  • @durkadurka2323 because ppl are lazy....

  • @durkadurka2323 *2011; still think walking is a viable mode of transportation

  • @durkadurka2323

    Naw, sitting easier.

  • This is the only reason why aliens come to earth just to visit japan and laugh at other countries.

  • Mr. Garrison would be proud!

  • anybody seen the humans from the movie wall-e? we r on our way.

  • Buy one of these and then have to join a health club to do some exercise....

  • It's all about Gyroscope Balancing!!!!!

  • looks like it would be bad on your back

  • The fact that it looks kinda like a motorized unicycle should tell you everything you need to know

  • This is very nice, it would be great for those who have walking issues, and could replace the wheel chair

    another thing:

START PUTTING YOUR PRODUCTS IN STORES!!!!!!!!

  • might be easier to just walk

  • That's it !!! I'm trading in my Accord. I'll be the only one going from Joppa, MD to Pikesville ( on 695) in a brand new Honda UX-3. Damn!!! Maybe "pimp my ride" can manage to put a navi on it.

  • very cool. some day, it will replace scooters

  • Most of you are not thinking outside the box because you are not disabled and don't know anyone disable. I have Multiple Sclerosis and can't walk very far without an aid (cane or walker), and far distances require a scooter. How much better it would be if I had one of these!!! A scooter makes me feel old (and I'm not!). Way to go Honda!!!

  • What's with all the comments about laziness? Is that really what you immediately thought of? If a fat dude doesn't use a rascal, he ain't gonna ride a wheeled suppository around. You see segways hauling fatties everywhere you look? This thing is probably slow as hell with someone over 140 pounds on it. And anybody wanna take a stab at how many zeroes in the price?

  • Do they want people to get any fatter?

  • Oh HONDA, you have seen the future and shown it to us and it is LAZY. Segways and now this. How LAZY can people be? This isn't for handicapped people, this is for LAZY people who are too LAZY to even walk for themselves.

  • fastest honda ive ever seen

  • I don't see why healthy people would need these but it would be great for my mother and father who both have COPD and can't walk 10 feet without getting out of breath.

  • @Syrinx69 I dont think it is a matter of needing one of these. Mores so the company exercising the the technology with basic function that can be perfected for better use in the future. Small steps

  • get off your lazy asses and walk lol!

  • well now japan is the new fattest country

  • Can they just make it a lazyboy?

  • I have two bad legs with neurological damage as well as 40 pounds of metal holding my spine together from a military service connected injury...how fast can I buy this?

  • yea and now put someone that is 300+ lbs on it like 70% of all americans are. Guess this toy is just for the light ones

  • @blakhalo7015 and where are you from mister stick?

    we're not 70% 300+. dip shit

  • Stairs? Curbs? Rough surfaces in general? This looks like it works indoors, with no carpets.

  • hum looking for cool guys to chat and meet up in my local area

  • turns human beings into quivering mounds of jello with useless appendages called "arms" and "legs" dangling limply at the sides and front

  • they need to mount a kinect on that thing and develop terrain recognition. the obvious flaw in this device is that it wont work on the average pavement

  • this is for lazy ppl whats wrong with walking indoors?

  • Comment removed

  • they see me rollin'. they hatin'.......

  • Honda are so dumb . . . why not just walk . . ?

  • i thought we were trying to stop obesity.

  • getting a little lazy...

  • i like it then i dont like it, how mush will this nice machine cost? look honda get back to making that robot...

  • cant wait to hit vtec

  • Damn this is gonna help me at work!

  • Honda's answer to the new Koenigsegg CCX

  • that needs moar V-TEC!

  • I would love to see the ones for overweight people in America

  • @tasmania105

They will probably make one with a tire the size of an SUV's - to support the extra weight.

  • okay, all this thing needs is a 100hp engine and some life insurance

  • you know ive always quite liked my legs. and until something better comes along ill keep using them

  • @rikwatson200 thank you! lol i second that! didn't the video game gta make fun of this sort of stuff? lol then again they made fun of alot of stuff that came to pass lol the radio stations are jokes but a sad look at reality lol

  • cool but useless

  • this is an example on how were gonna get fat:)

  • When these things are fully updated and mechanized, I know it will be hugely popular in the future pop culture

  • I know, when they're done updating and mass producing these, I know that these things will be big!

  • @JDReNo1 I was thinking the same thing, if someone weighing 275 lbs got on this thing he would have to have it surgically removed! lol

  • this may be the most pointless product I have ever seen

  • at first I thought the control mechanism would have something stuff up your ass and you control it with your sphincter

  • @lonewolf604 Like the "it"

  • @lonewolf604 Thanks Mr Garrison but I don't think we need anymore of that kind of input.

  • @C172Pilotdude lol Girls would love that machine :P

  • @lonewolf604 makes sense when thats where your mind's at.

  • WHEN LEGS AREN'T ENOUGH.

  • they don't look very comfortable

  • @carrito1981 So is a segway, and a scooter, and a bike

  • If you weigh over 275 lbs, this machine probably won't work.

  • I don't understand how people can be so synical about something as simple as this machine. It's really sad. Anyway, for one who works with the disabled it's good for those who are about to balance themselves, or for the elderly. It would also make things alot easier for those who assist them. Wheelchairs are heavy, balky, difficult to maneuver causing people to be left at home or not want to go out. This would allow them to have much more independence and socializing abilities.

  • Unless the darn thing does 30 MPH, what's the point?

  • this appears to be for fat lazy americans, but it don't look like it could support fat lazy americans. i hate this world.

  • my god this is so full of win!

  • Future vehicle for fatso's.

  • Now just to keep PERFECT balance. Oh... Looks a little windy out side, guess it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

  • i see.. only fat people in the future

  • how much i want

  • This will revolutionize short distance transportation for the elderly.

  • wow orsom

  • Walking is for losers.

  • are segways dead?

  • Yeah, but does it come with tow package..., I've got a boat...

  • do you have to be an asian spider monkey to ride it

  • No one likes the A+ student who gets all the honors and doesn't spend merely as much time doing homework as you do. Dumb people do not like smart engineering companies because they buy products that they do not research. What does extraordinarily high resale value of Honda cars tell you about the engineering at Honda?

  • Human is getting lazier and lazier. If this device is a success, there will be more lazier people who couldn't even walk with two feet. Eventually the legs found useless and the body evolve into a one big fat round egg shape that full of lipid acids wrap around.

  • just like in the movie wall-e

  • Honda, please learn about interlace and de-interlace and FPS conversions when you publish a video. I had to use the vuvuzella button to add sound to this soundless vid =/

Also, I tried one of these a few months ago and they are godly.

  • I like it. I'm 88 and can't wait too long, how soon will it be before we can pick it up?

  • how is that possible? aaaaah I love it *O*

    I want 2! XD

  • Try a unicycle

    No power require

    Good exercise

    Tried and true technology

    Cheap

Keeps your ass from getting big.

  • @creaturebotman

But not from getting sore when you fall off it lol.

  • do you have one that can support 275 pounds

  • @ronniereiff MAybe not one.. But 4 :D

  • u wish diet food is fish they hardly eat fat food but unless they eat like sumo then idk lol

  • Anyone who isn't a disabled that uses this should be dragged 20miles in to the woods and left to fend for themselves. If they get back then they can choose to be Chubby Lubbers if they don't then that is even more green then an electric mobility device.

  • lol at the drag race at the end

  • Needs a v8 then im listening. wow honda are amazing

  • looks uncomfortable and unbalenced :\ and will give people more excuse to be fat asses, but for disabled people its great small for busses ect. Only prob is whats the battery life. If someone is disabled and using this you can't have them walking all the way home and carrying it.

  • lmao, this is funny though

  • @mgmgflour ohhhhhhhhh, are alot of people getting fat there?

  • fuckin chinks sellin lazy america

  • What's next... hydraulic Pogo Sticks??

"Simply get on & it jumps all by itself"

I'm going to invent the self orbiting "Hoola Hoop".

Of course, with everything in the future being automated & automatic, if you use my "Hoola Hoop", you might not be able to get it off of your fat ass again. I'll cover them in leather... like belts!

  • Looks a lot more difficult than walking

  • This device won't be usable for people who do not have strong abs and back muscles. For those people -- handicapped and seniors -- this device would need a back rest and side rails to be usable.

  • With smoking, stress and no cardio ... we'll be the most unfit nation in the world! Yay!!.....ugh I think I'm getting a HEART ATTACK... Nope it's just a stroke.

  • wtf!

  • 日本の事はほっといて。

  • get your ass up and walk you lazy piece of shit

  • Because walking is for suckers.

  • Like with the Segway, this thing actually does have a decent market, and, its not just for fat lazy ppl as most of you seem to believe. If it can (at least) perform as good as the Segway, while remaining as compact and portable, it would replace the Segway completely.

  • For instance... I work for a stage production company (which often has ~100 -to- ~500 ppl on their feet for as much as 56 hrs straight) that always has somewhere between 2 and 12 Segways on site. Production leads use them to get around massive job sites to keep everything running smoothly and on-time.

  • Many of these shows have multiple convention centers, series of hotel ballrooms, and/or major concert arenas with as much as ~200 to ~500 ppl working all over the place to load-in and build, or tear down and load-out, an event as quickly as possible.

  • To be absolutely clear, most of these ppl are not "the typical fat American" most ppl seem to think is the only market for something like this. And, the same probably applies to major commercial/industrial manufacturing & assembly plant personnel'.

  • Having to constantly travel across massive facilities and/or grounds can be pretty hard on a person' system. Cost effective solutions to reduce the detriments caused by being on your feet, walking marathon courses all day long, are always in pretty high demand for those kinds of companies.

  • Though I agree it would be a shame if the only ppl who actually buy this product are those seeking to abuse it for personal use around the house or some such but, I don't see that devaluing its potential applications on large-scaled job sites like those I've referenced.

  • LOL! let us all STOP the walkin!

  • Wall-E, more than just a movie.

  • Hot damn! Now I can eat Little Debbie pies and text at the same time while rolling down to the break area for a cigarette!

  • It is a prototype for a reason. The purpose is show advancement in technology. It's not like we are all going to buy Asimo to do our fucking dishes. They said the same dumb shit when 5mph automobiles were invented 150 years ago. What a stupid idea those were. They never did a damn thing for humanity.

  • Technology that both scares and arouses me. I'm lovin' this more efficient (lazier) future we're making for ourselves.

  • wow you mean now that people are getting to fucking lazy to even walk

  • Battery time = 1 hour untill a fat guy sits on it battery time = 12 seconds if the device isnt crushed by then :)

  • Cant wait to see people start drag racing with those...

  • bfd. walking is faster! walking backwards is faster!

  • Hooray. I can go walking speed in a more expensive manor. Or I could just walk where I want to go. Stairs? Clearly my legs trump this machinery.

  • I like the wheel design. Imagine if you applied that wheel to a bunch of things, like hand trucks and forklifts. Or cars and luggage, aircraft and trucks.

  • I see this being more useful as the base of a mobile robot, than transportation for people.

It just looks weird and uncomfortable. Can you imagine a bunch of people, briefcase in hand and little bike helmets riding this to work? "Look at me I'm Asian and nerdy".

And as far as handicapped people is concerned, I doubt they were thinking of that. No back support, bad posture, tiny pegs... It looks harder than walking.

  • good technology but it will make people lazier and fatter.

  • In our sue-happy society, I can see one of the first users reaching for something, falling, breaking a hip, and suing Honda for millions. Other than that, it's great.

  • @jsipma If this is true, I should sue Honda for crashing my motorcycle.

  • opvoeren

  • I hope you never suffer from disabling lung or hip diseases, or traumatic injuries to the joints or extremities.

Up until then, idiots, make your ignorant jokes. You'll be old soon, and you're so ill-educated you don't know enough to fear what time will do to you.

  • v-tec anyone?? xD

  • where is the exhaust pipe?

  • Well yes, as a matter of fact I AM tired of using my legs and would prefer looking like i'm taking a shit whilst I move about in public. Thank god for Honda! Walking was, you know.... stressful at times.

  • Great. Another thing to make Americans even fatter. I can just see it now. People would pay hundreds for this thing and then pay even more for diets and gym memberships to try and lose the weight they gained on this. Worse idea ever. At least the Segway is fast and doesn't look as gay.

  • Their posture looks damn uncomfortable, you'd probably get spine issues in no time using this thing...

  • When you absolutely have to get there without exerting any physical effort whatsoever... And do it in less time, too!

  • If you super size it, I'd imagine you could use it for foundations to keep buildings or any structure level during earthquakes.Make the posts in opposite & parallel sections...as far as I can see you could never tip over with the seat controls fastened to the ground.

  • Is it so hard to get off our arses and move your legs back and forth?

  • @Kazumixxo This a convenient device especially for the elderly and the handicapped.

I know some people that instead of going for a 6 minute walk to a place in town prefer to take the car and take 20 minutes to park it...

Some how I get a feeling that Mankind couldn't get more retarded and lazy even if we tried...

  • I love walking but can only walk around 100 feet due to a spinal cord injury, this would allow me to go out to museums, car shows, motorcycle shows etc.when are they going to be produced, please Honda.

  • now i never have to walk again, thank goodness!

  • Americans are not lazy in fact we have the best minds and military fource on th
