Amazed this guy wasn't much more famous - he deserved to be. Featured in the blues documentary "Deep Blues" (1991). Check him out singing "Heartbroken Man"
I love this. My family knew him. I knew growing up. He had a bar on Nelson Street in the same block as my father's barber shop......I miss it. I imagine that Nelson was Greenville's Harlem with all the activity and music.
