  • HOLY FUCK! when i clicked this video, i thought this was taken with a camera.. OMG!

  • on the thumbnail,i thought it was jacob black loool

  • use a mouse to draw this?

  • thats really good can you draw bella or edward from twilight

  • It looks realistic

  • Mega basic questions: 1) whats your background? 2) is it possible for some1 whos never done any serious art work, to learn how to paint? Im asking because im really into 3D modelling, but when it comes to digital painting.. well lets just say im far from good:P ..i would be really grateful if you could message me back:D PS: that girl looks sooo like my ex gf... wow...

  • you forgot to draw the kitchen

  • What is the pencil you would use if you werent using a pc?

  • Good work, she's hot. Who is it?

  • whao really nice, its truly an art. - cud you tell me how much time would it take for me to learn this, and i never used photoshop or anything like that...but im really interested- guess its easier if i hav a photo reference of a woman, guess u had one too...but how cud u defy for me, what i ll need, besides being very patient, i mean is it possible, to do it by myself after a week praticing for example, r now its complated for me, but i guess it is,specially using the programm, any info please?

  • Man I wish I could get the proper proportions down from the very start q.q

  • alessandra ambrosio.

  • Wow!

    You're great!!!

    62 people got jealous! ( :

  • she look like Missy Peregrym

  • ı have a cintiq 21 ux can you advice programs to me ı am a 16 year old boy ı just want to be a designer but ı dont know how to use cintiq and in turkey there arent anybody who could help me

  • @ardcmuran sorry for my bad english :)

  • LEGIT GO TILL U CANT LEARN ANYMORE!

  • Looks real

  • @idrawgirls what Photoshop CS are you using? Does it matter what version of photoshop you have, I hope not cause I ordered Photoshop CS4 because the teacher and student edition of CS5 was a ripoff as the code won't work. Im a newbie in digital art and want to try it instead of traditional media as I can never get the colours perfect and having filters makes things 99% easier.

  • @KLamki1 Anything from CS2 is legit. I did this one using CS2, now I am on CS5.

  • @KLamki1 90% of skill in Photoshop is the user, not the program. A newer version might have a more fluid UI and fix some bugs (like the jump from cs3 to cs4) but don't feel disadvantaged because your software is slightly out of date.

Also, get used to colours. Filters are a quickfix, but it'll never be perfect until you get it right. Get some photos and then try and replicate them by painting. You'll be surprised how much you'll learn about texturing/perspective/lighting and value

  • @Warriorjemgi I don't think I will be using it at all. I ordered CS4 on amazon for about £213 and they sent me a upgrade CS5, I was excited and Installed it and entered the serial code and the green light ticked and then when it was finishing/connecting it said "unable to start subscription photoshop cs5" Adobe were useless at helping said it was a fake, but the green light said it was valid. I'm not the only one with the problem, others are having some trouble too. Any tips on the matter?

  • @KLamki1 Hmm. Sounds strange, not to mention a little unfair. I'd keep on the emails etc until they answer, get your receipt from amazon if you can and send it to adobe.

  • @Warriorjemgi don't worry, thank god Amazon returned my money back. The people that sold it must have been selling faulty products, because when I tried to return their item the mail got returned saying the address was no longer there? Strange.. Oh well I got the trial cs5 and PSE 9 full version and ArtRage 3.0 and something else with wacom tablet. Adobe can kiss my ass, ill just get a copy of it. I give them £200 for their stuff and it won't work because the codes broken.

  • Bardzo ładne. Jak z kilku kresek w szkicu, można stworzyć coś bardzo ładnego.:)

  • Just wanna say, aside from that beautiful work of art, your music taste is awesome! :D

  • I see program is PS but one thing i would like to know.

    Which tablet you are using???

  • @Inspirikus Only trust WACOM intuo

  • @idrawgirls

I am using Bamboo from Wacom and it is really good plus cost is much lower...I guess when i get more experience with tablet and pen then i will invest more. Tnx for answer

  • @idrawgirls only trust wacom intuo ?

    seriously ?

I'm using a Hanvon Artmaster 3, works on the same principle. Does it make any difference ?

  • nice work!! but with paper and pen its better!!..

    more epic,...

  • @TheFeinmotoriker I do have that on my channel and my blog. ;-)

  • I'm so jealous... You are one talented mofo XD

  • @YunJaeGDLuv Don't be, I've been doing this and beyond for over a decade. 8-10 hrs a day. ;-)

  • @idrawgirls Well the thing is, I'm an artist myself, and can draw BY HAND and paint BY HAND and sculpting really well haha, but when it comes to actually using technology, I suck. Bad... REALLY BAD. I've also been an artist all my life :D Do you do any other things like drawing by hand, or painting or even sculpting?

  • @YunJaeGDLuv Go look at my website or my channel then you will find out. I am a commercial artist, not a fine artist. Technology helps you get stable and great paying jobs in video games and movies. Peace! ;-)

  • could you tell me what brushes and stuff you use please?

  • @samwatson120 Check your inbox for useful articles. Brushes are on my website, you can see the link everywhere/

  • could you please tell me where you got some of your photoshop brushes from and which work best for digital paintings

  • @1truePOWERsntm Will send you some useful articles and brushes in your inbox.

  • @idrawgirls that would be wonderful, thank you.

  • I always think I'm finished about half way through. Terrified of screwing up. Gotta realise I'm not operating on someone and failures are ok, I guess.

  • @Sparedspider Each painting are just one more practice. Take it seriously but not too serious. ;-)

  • I wish I could inspire this for hand drawings. I think your drawings are amazing fam. I want to start a movement against the CGI capitalist artwork, we need more hand talented people like you, not some soul-less programmes. Keep up the works dude

  • Beautiful

  • What type of wacom do you use?

  • Great drawing!! You are a genius!!

  • love the face!!!! can I ask a question, what colours did you use caus it looks so real and the shadows are so natural. the colors I use look verry painted can you help?

  • @idrawgirls Thanks a lot, I just discoverd that I was using the wrong collor code, it is already improving. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

  • @idrawgirls can you send me some useful articles too? please :)

  • what program is this? is it photoshop?

  • @aamy04 Yep and Wacom

  • I wish I can draw like that

  • I found only one girl draw :)

  • How the hell do I get this good? Do I have to sacrifice a goat or something?

  • Beautiful!!

  • i wanna draw a portrait of the girl i love, but i f**king can`t draw like this -.- </3

  • nice song and drawing!!!

  • on the thumbnail, i tought it is a real woman

  • i with do this

    it's verry fantanstique

  • You are truly amazing..I want to begin drawing..I'm awful..this is intimidating.

  • i have a question, at 1:33 you started putting in orange colors, i was wondering what layer type did you use, is it 'Multiply' or 'Darken' or just 'Normal'?

  • do another one without reference to a model or any human being.

like someone from your own imagination, NO references !

  • @Sakuems Wow, you obviously never been to my website or have no idea what I do for living. LOL. ;-)

  • @idrawgirls no i didn't lol ! i say this kind of comments just to make people react :p

it's not against you, i just see on youtube, a lot of "artits" who are just copying existing picture or always uses references and it's kinda annoying ... but you are cleary not one of them. sorry :)

  • @Sakuems No prob,... ;-) React? No need. If you don't notice, I reply to everyone if you read the comment. ;-)

  • @idrawgirls yes ^^ i did this too on my channel :). i was thinking more about the other people, the ones that like this video and will try to "defend" you, because that happened a lot on other channels where i commented.

  • @Sakuems I'd say doing both are impressive. making something look close to 100% alike, through painting, is pretty fucking amazing. These artists are not using the "mirror/copy" tool to make these pictures..

  • @KonnichiwaX mmmh yes it's nice, it requires talent, but it's somehow - for me - pretty useless to try to be 100% alike an existing picture

  • @Sakuems For what it's worth, using references is how people learn, it's encouraged and essential if you want to draw well. Though I agree with you in the sense that it's nice to see how individual artists see things through their eyes, seeing what they come up with using only their imagination. o/

  • @Eneethe i agree with you, using references is not bad, i use references in my work too. but copying existing pictures is not, that's just my opinion. i hate these people that just CAN'T create anything without a model.

  • @Sakuems ehhh yea. someone who copies other people work isnt a artist at all. ppl who use references arent any better than ppl who don't. but i know you know that

  • @HotPocketsBoy EVERY artist is using references ! that's called culture. every artist is inspired by what he saw, art history, society, dreams, artbooks, EVERY one. then we make it our own, that's Art. I can say i draw without visual references sometimes, but just because these references are already printed in my mind from all the culture i received during art school. There's not better or worse artist but I think create from your mind only is better. but that's just my opinion.

  • @Sakuems yea i know. its like sampling in music. i understand. heard it a million times. i respect ur opinion

  • @Sakuems i did make that awesome black bikini own imagination

    here name is kailey

  • This is photoshop right?

If this is photoshop i have 1 question

  • Really cool, your vids are always motivate me :)

But I have many questions :

For the sketch, what kind of brush and layer do you use ? (hard brush with transfert and you just draw again on shadow zone to make them darken ?)

For color, i always try to choose myself but i can't have good skin tones, can you explain me your process ?

Finally, can you tell me the layer and brush organisation you use (darken, screen, overlay etc...)

So, i hope you'll answer me and thanks you for free vids ;)

  • @162133740 On its way, people often get ahead and try to color before knowing value. Check your inbox.

  • should i know her?? do i know her?

  • Comment removed

  • amazin!!!

  • LOL. i just tried this on paper and failed so hard

  • I wonder how can people dislike it, even not being capable of drawing like that. We should praise artists, not hate them only because they are much more talented.

  • 61 people can't draw like him .

  • @manandblack2 Me neither, but I thumbed up anyways xD

  • very very impressive

  • what program do they use???

  • @lordronin593 Thx, I like them messy. ;-)

  • Great tutorial THX!

  • really y the hell do all u ass holes suck at making a dam request

ich will auch so zeichnen können :(

  • @CaPtNcApS1 Dank

  • So down to the last detail what all do I need to get before I can even start making something like this? I have no idea where to even start :/

  • @Einriech Start drawing and draw a lot and like doing it.

  • hey ur a pro dude!!! hw long did it take to make this 1?

i cant make a digital one cause of my fckng mouse :l

    anyway nice vid

  • @codeb24 Thx. Because mouse isn't made for drawing. Tablet is made for drawing, but tablet doesn't make one an artist. Check your inbox

  • @Twizted7129 OK ;-)

  • Fascinating...... Your work is in a class of it's own! Do you think I could see a few of those articles you gave to other youtubers as well pls? I'm interested in what you had to say about the brushes you used and opacity! It'd love to get my own drawings to hold up so well!

  • @fosterkmas Mainly focus on correct drawing (shapes), values (light), color and edges. Check your inbox for more detail.

  • oooh, thats so smart. I never thought of doing a grey background and then using opacity instead of just darker colors.... :O

  • Hey its hard to draw using a computer nice pro!

  • 59 people missed the Like Button... Probably tired trying to match this guy's technique>.<

  • can u send me the brush u used in the begining? im looking for a pencil looking brush

  • Hi, I really like your vids, I think they're easy to understand. But I have a question, I have really hard times painting the woman evenly. The pictures always result in uneven, messy colours. Is it because of the brush? What brush do I have to use?

  • @ChottomatteUyachan It's not brush. It's opacity...that's why it gets muddy. Check your inbox for some useful articles.
