Rod Stewart will never make a singer as long as he's got a hole in his ear. He's completely out of his depth in anything but the trashy pop music he started with.
Why ruin a decent video with his off key ramblings when there is an excellent soundtrack ?
There's a little shop I go to on Saturday mornings after breakfast. They always have Rod Stewart playing...a selections from the American Song Book Collections he has put together. Everyone in the shop seems to be humming or singing along...me too!
Thank you immensely! "Isn't it Romantic?" Yes, it is ROMANCE! Many people "could have [certainly] danced all night"! Thank Heaven for bringing Audrey Hepburn to this world; she left a testament of love in it that will always remain alive. Many thanks to Rod Stewart, Billy Wilder, Humphrey Bogart, William Holden, ... (I would be terribly happy including many, many more names...) Thank you LOVE for embracing each and every one of us, incurable romantics!
"In the original 1945 Sabrina movie starring Audrey Hepburn, there is a instrumental song that I love. It is played when David Larrabee(William Holden) and Elizabeth Tyson (Martha Hyer ) dance in the Larrabee party. Does anyone know the name? I already tried finding the soundtrack on the web, but have had no success. You can hear that song in my YouTube account (alanizate)
Please What's the name of that song or melody? Thank you! Alan
I think that is the same..: Isn´t it romantic! but the song here is singing by Stewart..! I think that there are so good versions of this song! thanks for comment!!!
Why would you use this awful version of this song as a counterpoint to Audrey Hepburn's beauty. Obviously, the Ella Fitzgerald version was called for.

Is this Rod Stewart's weezy booze-hound ass?
Hoopermazing 2 years ago 2
The film Sabrina had this a version of this song playing in the background that was better than this one.
Why go to the trouble to debase the film by substituting Rod Stewart's clearly inferior rendition?
