i have found the battery life adequate, i only use fresh Nimhs rated above 2500mah. There are no cameras in this price range that offer stability correction, but this can be handled by using tripods and slow panning, and not walking while recording.
kodak holds up to 32GB SD card.

very short battery life! NO Stablelizer so you have to be very still when filming.
