wait wait... Reading the last comments from people it sounded like the modded CR8 won. It did not. It lost. Now reading from the movie details it was a stock gtr. Also launch control was not used on the gtr. And then you read the CR8 and super V8 cars would stand a chance against the Nissan GTR on the track? EXCUSE ME? I Really want what some of you guys are smoking, because it sounds really incredible.

@annd27 lol then you thought wrong...a high powered v8 would piss on most things in a drag race ( nitrous v8 top fuellers for example, at the extreme) but the Holden tuned chassis along with some decent power, has the balls to back up a decent race around a track too. yet half the price...

@holdenls1ssz Yes, but the mordern GT-R is much more powerful too. It's heavier then a Porche GT2 and has less power but yet it's faster. I'll agree V8 Supercars have come a fair way, but Nissan didn't twiddle their thumbs in that time either. I'd certainly love it if they said, "Fuck it" and went back to the old school Bathurst, just to see more variety of cars tuned to the shithouse. It'd also mean Ford and Holden would have to up their game and produce a proper sports car to match the Japs.
