so hard to watch, always makes me twitch seeing that bug flop around before taking off. Great example of a grand bioethical conversation that needs to take place in our society soon.
Some much for humans being at one with nature. These humans that do this are not normal they want to control everyone and everything . They are the virus living off the labour (taxes) of the decent people that just want to go to work and raise their familys without hurting anyone or anything. No good will come of this sort of research. Of course their idea of good is to murder the undesirables , often women and children .
so in my city of london ontario Canada , the guy who discovered insulin killed 30 some dogs to do it
it helps people all over the wolrl and you probably even know someone who uses insulin, im not saying robitic bugs are going to save lives but science is science
im thinking in terms of millitary scenarios, why not put these in wasps, who can sting? admittedly its weak but can cause pain. im not sure if other flying insecs have stronger poisons but if not possibly genetic modification can make them more deadly.
why do that when you have UAV's and unmanned drones that can do that but 10 times the efficiency! There'll be scenarios where these guys will be needed but I don't think its for taking out human threats
This is cool

All they need to do is take over 100 funnel web spiders and send them after someone to assassinate them!

spaceshipable 2 years ago

with everyone inside?
spaceshipable 2 years ago
yeah sure! going in with cyborgs and eliminating each threat 1 by 1 would be kinda hard.
marineninga 2 years ago
@spaceshipable think about if they were to inject a small bit of deadly poison inside each sac? they could assassinate pretty much anyone.

Consider that if something like so can be done with insects, the same is true for mammals/humans...
