  • @MrPiucci why do you spanish people allway react in spanish? you really think some english bloke speaks spanish???

  • @alrikdewaardt That's italian dude, not spanish.

  • I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me why my projector only gives a blue screen when I have the battery fully charged and connected to my Ipod. Plz help. Thanks so much!

  • @sauceytxn13 mine does the same thing, it does it on sleep mode, and also if it doesnt work with a certain device. does it always go blue screen when connected to your ipod? it might just not be compatible...unless it USED to work, and now doesnt. thats a totally different issue!

  • it's a piece of shit small and poor image you better get a real one.

  • how much is it and can you play games on iphone with this???

  • can you hook it up to a pc

  • im gonna buy this along with a go pro video camera, so i dont have to play back on the tiny little screen you have to buy

  • slow the hell down

  • Actually, this is a step down, or behind, what I thought it would be........I imagined a portable projector that is capable of casting video&audio imagery&sound........via a chip, installed in it. Or uploaded data from a PC/camera. No need for cables, NO need for camera. Just click on and project. Nah, no sale here. Next model maybe.

    peace

  • I just bought a optoma GT100 and for you amaricans its called (pT100)

    optoma is the best

  • need one

  • only a complete idiot would think that he can actualy project something using a usb.

  • @drago433 Hmn, you may want to look at the Aiptek PocketCinema V50 before making such sweeping statements Drago ;)

  • COST?????????

  • @Pesrik2 about 200-300 USD

  • Oh yeah, and how much does this cost to?

  • Were can I buy one of these? Also would it be possible to hook one of these up to an iphone or laptop if I have the right cord?

  • I knew it wasnt 20,000 hours lol, its around 2-3

  • holy shit I want one, I need a projector in university what better than a portable one, and did he say battery life is 20,000 hours a charge? WTF

  • @Brendon00000

The lamp source lasts 20,000 hrs..not the battery.

  • The pouch doubles as a phone case!

  • Everyone Type "Won" Before youtube.com

  • I'd buy it if it could take Mini HDMI since most phones have that. Or else what can you carry around thats small enough for composite inputs? DVD player? lol

  • r u a hand model?? look at ur hands

  • so you cant project things from a computer?

  • well finally, someone who knows what they are talking about

  • In what way is 320x240 not a bad resolution?

I don't even know of things that support this resolution anymore, let alone VGA!

  • @skurtix Keep in mind that you can fit it in your pocket. For such a small projector the resolution isn't bad. By the way he was probably comparing the resolution to other miniprojectors and not monitors.

  • @nik1614 Ah. Are other pico projectors lower resolution?

  • can it connect to the ipad

  • Nice review thanks. I think I want one to connect to my campervan dvd double din so I can have a portable cinema with a pull down screen over the back window!!

  • why even bother with a review if your not gonna use it with the right lighting situation useless video man thumbs down

  • What model is this?

  • Can you charge it and play at the same time?

How long does it take to charge to full battery?

  • @trailblazers52 about 3 hours and yea play& charge @same time

  • @huskersend ummm i dont get it? but i love the projector

  • Not a good deal I have a sd card slot on mine...

  • Would This Work Good For Me To Teach Computer Class From My Laptop

  • Great, Nice unboxing. It helped me a lot since my order of this is on the way.

  • a am looking to buy a mini led projector, would you recomend this projector for movies and things like that?

  • does the proector work with a computer? cheers

  • @noonchar I believe this is an old model, but the one I have came with a dongle to hook up VGA, so yes.

  • @Leodee What is better, this or the Eyeclops Mini Projector?

  • is it a piece of 5:31

  • @CRAZYCRAZYKEITH Really? Is it? Cause i kinda want it, but i dont want a piece of 5:31 so.... lol

  • @BillyTheAlienVideo im glad somebody got it =D lol

  • Comment removed

  • @friedolayz Correct, its not a review at all. The title gives that away.

  • is it compatible with xbox 360 and does it have a built

  • @rexyscape hey the pk201 has a mini hdmi port so if you want u could get 720p/ 1080i resolutions. yes you can play xbox and in hd

  • great video, can someone reply to this comment and tell me in what sittuations this works best in?

  • @EatThatShrimp007 if you need to show somethings to co workers in a confrence... just pull it out and show em! also if your in need of a tv that only works in pitch black but has a 60 inch screen this is your tv..

  • allright mate as im in the UK aswell is there any products that would be better for my hard earned £220 and how long would the bulb last if i use it with my xbox 360

  • does it work while being charged? Trying to find a cheap projector for a FDIR multitouch screen

  • great review & genuinely interesting.

    Thanks for sharing this

  • What if you want to use it as a computer monitor????

  • I'm trying to like it but it doesn't seem to convince me.

  • lol a hd 1080p hdmi/vga/rca/s-vid/ypbpr composite/4000lux projector that small would be immpressive

  • is there a mini projector where you can plug your pc into it??

  • If you could download movies onto the actual device and project them onto a wall without having to plug anything in, id get one

  • Does this work whit an iPod ??

    How much does it Cost

  • Play your Xbox on it XD

  • @Xerangelo ok!!! xP

  • I used to have one of these but it was never very bright and on all but a 20 or 30 inch screen it was not watchable, had to be really dark to see anything too. Now I have a Mini projector from Microjekt in Europe, the pocket power, it is far far superior to this model, at least 5 time brighter and i regularly watch a 100+ inch screen with it. Do a search for Microjekt and dont waste your money on this one!

  • I have a problem with the AV signal losing connection. Are they all like that?

  • nope not mine

  • Dude that thing is tiny

  • how is the battery life?

  • good its like 8 hours.

  • no way i wish

  • good i got almost a full movie off a full charge

  • whats the point of having audio inputs does this have speakers?

  • Of course otherwise yes, it would be pointless!

  • @leodee xD

  • @tommyc0079 do you have add? or somethin

  • @tommyc0079 it has small speakers, but also has audio output for your own set of speakers

  • a bell loop what a moron thought up that!!

  • Belt loop I assume you mean? I can't imagine a time where I would want to wear this on my belt?

    Holy Powerpoint presentations Batman?!

  • @leodee lol

  • @leodee xD

  • @leodee Yes Robin, it seems it's a pocket projector protector.

  • @ashtongrist bell loops are totally for morons... like spelling

  • @ashtongrist ha ha yea but you would have to fucus it verytime you move

  • Could you show the largest image possible in a dark room? Thank you!

  • 8 foot

  • so i can maybe play a 360 with this hmm....

  • i am thinking to wach movies on my wall :)

  • nice video have you had a look at the Microvision laser projector ?

  • Where can I buy this???

  • i saw that you can buy this on the apple website :)

  • if you are are really tech savy it appears as if you could disassemble this and combine it with a pair of glasses to make a HUD...... just a thought

  • I totally LOVE your accent!

  • i got it and and in a totaly dark room 8 foot image with good quality

  • Wow look it up on google.

  • where do u get those?

  • best buy

  • best buy for 230 dollars

  • @alec246

    that's all?!

  • Can this be connected to a computer? as well as iPods, Mobile phones etc...

  • all but pc's i think but u may want to double check

  • 1:15 there you have 3 cables!

well you hook up a s-video cable with that yellow end on your pc, in case your graphic card got one plug (my lappy does, so i can watch yt on tv) and the normal 3 pole audio to a red n white rca cable ;) i bet there is a way to connect somehow ;)

  • Yes, It can be used for a computer, but you will need a VGA to RCA/S-Video cable to be able to do it. Also, for the best results, set the resolution to 640x480 or 800x600 which is quite low.

  • if i use a mac, can i use VGA to RCA/S-video?

and how is the quality? is it good? i meen if i use 800x600 to the mini projector.

  • no this version is the PK 101 an you cant hook up a VGA up 2 it only the PK 102 can be hooked up to computers and laptop with also a 4gb internal memeory

  • is it good quality like whats the res??

  • And I'm still sitting here with my 20 lbs. Zoombox Projector.

  • can this thing play progressive scan, like on psp games? please respond!

  • yes

  • coool :P

  • would it look good in 32" projection?

  • Yes, in fact, it will look great up to arount 60"

  • that is amazing BRO!!!!!!!

  • great vid! product get really hot. Looking for something a bit better in quality.

I am not so happy with this product. I need something with a better resolution. This is still more than $248 w/tax!! I will return it.

  • nicely done video!

  • interesting technology, would love if it did 720p and was a lower price

  • can you plug in a cumpter or laptop

    ?????

  • u can if u can have a cable thats converts your video out on i think evry device thats has a video out to standerd video like shown in the vid i geus :P im buying one 4sure :P

  • If you keep it plugged in will it still die after 2 hours?

  • how much does this amazing device cost?

  • 250 us

  • so disappointing that it only supports 480x320,,i'd rather consider 3m mpro110 or the bonitor mp201

  • Comment removed

  • It is. What's your point?

  • damn i bought 1 of the big optoma projectors but i could have bought that??

well, mine must be better quality but if it could use those wires as well... itwould be better :)

  • looks cheap it should be higher quality

  • exactly how big can you get the display screen until the picture gets fuzzy?

  • It can go up to 60 inches without getting fuzzy

  • donde lo consigo?

  • I thought this was pretty cool until I heard what the resolution is. 480x320? Really? That's so disappointing. I don't think I could settle for less than 640x480 and would much prefer 800x600 or better.

  • Hmm... if you could connect it to a video iPod you would have hundreds of movies on the go and a huge screen all for total of around 200grams

  • You can

  • Can you connect it to a xbox 360 and laptop(the laptop has hdmi ports and a vga port)

  • yes you can plug in anything that uses those wires :) e.g. a ps2

  • Comment removed

  • No it's a pocket projector but most people have cellphones keys earphones and other stuff in there pockets so the clip can go on your belt loop if your pockets are full

    It's an option

  • epic fail comment

  • does it play video downloaded to it from a PC?

ie without being hooked up to a PC itself can it store and project videos you've transferred to it with a USB?

  • No.

  • Not at the moment!

  • awesome

  • how far away can you get the projector in a pretty dark room and still have the picture reasonably bright? how big is the picture at this distance?

  • it projects a bout 60 inchs !

  • does it come with a tripod?

  • It just comes with the added 'idea' of a tripod.

  • how would you use it with laptop? what connection/converter would you need for your VGA, if possible?

  • I am guessing it would work well with a video IPOD. Might be a neat thing to have in a small bedroom. IPOD, and projector hooked up to the computer for battery life. connect the audio cables to your stereo instead of the projectorand you have a mini movie theater in your room on the wall or ceiling.

I would do it for $200 but not for $400.

  • Apple (Mac) has it for 300. i hope i get it soon

  • yeah pretty good, quite helpful

  • battery life?

  • Since you apparently only want positive comments (odd, that), you'll likely delete this one too...but keep in mind that your description says, "Matt unboxes and demonstrates the Optoma Pico Pocket Projector." You hardly "demonstrated" it. So there goes your excuse about this being an "ubnoxing video."

  • All feedback is good. I didnt intentionally remove your comment.

the point you rasied, that I could have taken the projector in to a darkened room, is valid. the reason I didn't was that I considered how I thought people would be likely to use it; on the train, an ad-hoc meeting, down the pub?! To set it up in a dark room with a proper projection screen would not have been a fair example.

But that's just my opinion. I wanted to show it as I *thought* people might use it.

  • I cant believe people actually think this could be fake, I mean what are they smoking?

  • That's a complement to this technology. Sometimes people can't believe unless they see if IRL, if it's impressive. Keeps the coolness edge all that much better.
