i know les pauls arent the easiest playing guitars in the world, but imo they are just far superior tone wise. i dont see why more people dont play them more often.

@JKryanX Many people, including myself, find them a little too muddy, but it all comes down to taste. I prefer Music Man guitars, they are a little clearer but still creamy. I just love their punch. I just wish my Petrucci 7-string was as reliable as a Les Paul. The neck is far too sensitive to the unstable climate here.

thx for the lessons dave,i thought hybrid picking involved a pick, and plucking with 2nd,3rd, and 4th fingers. but you dont have a pick, so is it fingerstyle?

yeah i corrected myself in the vid. I've been playing this song with a pick so i was used to saying hybrid picking.
