Sure, the kids were being jerks, but the teacher was completely out of line there, a few times himself - prick of a guy. Which isn't to say it's right what the kid did - it wasn't.

Just because he's an adult doesn't mean he's not going to do something rash or irresponsible. Even adults can lose control just as you or I might when we are pushed to our limits.
