That was a nice solve, simple and for those of us not blessed with a side cutter easy fix. Beware of the "gram weenies" though, cause they will richiously complain aboout that"extra" piece of metal. This week I break down and get me a newfangled side cutter.

Good inovating.
I used a side cutting can opener to make my lids.
