Harleys r by far the coolest bikes on the planet and they r great for everyday real world cruising and popping around town . The ugliest bikes you can buy are the versys,street triple,and bonneville . How bad they look disqualifies their performance . They r so nasty they make the v-strom look like an exotic in comparison .

Driving on base is a pain. They use to make us wear reflective vests too.

Anybody have a dyno before and and after with a high flow intake with this?

How much weight did you lose switching to the CFR's? Does your bike still have that "glide to the right" feeling? Mine has it bad and I'd love to shave some of that weigh.

Otherwise, great looking pipe. I just wish you'd have given me a bit more.

OK, here's my problem ... I'm military and will be riding this thing through the main gate of a military base - on a pretty regular basis. I understand it's loud if you get into the throttle, but if I ride in a nice "polite" manner, will it still rumble?

I'm worried that the police on base will have a problem with it if it's too loud ...

@FishmacNCheese hmmm i guess if you just "glide" along it should be fine ....also I have seen they sell a buffler (is that how they call it) still gives it a nice sound but not as loud....

@FishmacNCheese Hey man i have an 07 CDX with tab slip on pipes that are loud enough that it sets off my buddies com system when he rides behind me. i ride to post every day on mine and have never had any problems. Wear Earplugs. it has been my expierence that as long as your not trying to pop wheelies or burn out or do something else stupid then you will be fine. loud pipes save lives. your not being a show off your wanting to be seen so some dill weed doesnt run you over.
