I'm part of a 600-member bike club in Mobile, Alabama, and I LOVE these amazing bikes and the people making them. This is a straight-up do-it-yourself art form and I can see why some of it is in a museum. I'm going to try making one for Mardi Gras to ride around with my kids. And wow--there are a lot of hateful and racist comments on this video that say more about the writers than about the video. Keep making art and ignore the haters!

A few things these bikes are lacking are lighting, 12 volt systems (so electric accessories can be used), stereo systems (just because most FULL BLAST equipment is marketed for automobile use doesn't mean it can't be used on bikes). So check out my friend's YouTube channel, my friend SamuraiClinton put a car stereo on his bike, and he also used real car lights on there too.
@SlashKitty69 Even if the bike weighs more having all that on there since a deep cycle battery is involved, its well worth it since you also get better exercise in return. I'm serious about that type of customzation. Rims are nothing compared to having a 12 volt system (though its the other way around for automobiles).
I gotta be honest, the bike with the aluminum foil in the spokes looks so much better than the shit cars that people go and put giant, 24" chrome rims on and drive around like hardasses.
