Hey Alex, how's it going? Thank U very much for the tutorials. I appreciate that you actually guide me through process, it's really great. But one problem I've got. I use SketchUp Pro 8 & V-Ray 1.5. But my IES lights are ALWAYS waaaay too bright! I've not yet understood how to control their intensity. Please help, how do I control IES light intensity in my scenes?

@trintube57 it might be related to your color mapping, if you use linear then you'll get very intense results - in that case use exponential ...you can control the light intensity at the multiply panel of the the IES light

i have a qusetion, the web works well for me but there is no glow from the lightsouce which makes it appear a bit non sense since you have a light distributed but no light souce, do you make another, say, free light for this (which will again change your settings or is there a way to make the light source glow (as it should)?..

@vrayguide ok so i took your scene from your site and open it and rendered it and no error. the error occured when i clicked on modifiers tab after i selected the photometric light. so it's something from it's modifiers :) anyway thanks for the light i'll merge it to other scenes until i fix this problem.

@progrsv what 3Dsmax do you have? I think it's the "box" navigation that causes this...try to remove it from 3Dsmax ...or at least close it from your viewposrts

hi Alex, I've imported a scene (3ds file), and all the lights has bee set-up already.

3ds max does pic it up, but you don't get the option of light distribution... So do i have to re-do all the lights from scratch? Thanks alot.
