  • i have osteoscarcoma or bone cancer i have to take this drug every week to kill all of the cancer and i was wondering if you dont mind what were some of your side effects

  • I have been taking methotrexate for a few years off and on. Originally i was supposed to do the injections but for some reason my doctors office could not get them at the time so i was taking the pills. I was taken off the drug because of my age it's dangerous in case i got married or something, but now i am being put back on because there is nothing else for me. I was taking it for Crohn's Disease with Arthritis involvement. Now I am taking the injections for the first time for Crohns & Lichens

  • My just turned 6 year old daughter also has weekly mtx injections, she will LOVE seeing your daughter so bravely get hers! We have to wait until she is asleep then creep in and jab her otherwise her anxiety is really bad! Hopefully your little brave girl will inspire her! We also have a son 8 years old who helps her get her jabs - he will love seeing your son helping! Thank you for your video! Your daughter is helping! I might try to post a vid if daughter is keen! THANKS!

  • Hi I was watching your video, I also have Lupus. I may be trying this med out soon, I cant stay on prednisone anymore...12 years on and off of this stuff is enough! I am touched by the bravery and support of your children in this situation. Your daughter is lovely and your son is very sweet! I am happy to see things like that on youtube, because getting these injections every week must be hard. Kudos to the dad too for helping and giving the injections..

  • isnt mtx has really bad side effects? I have been prescribed mtx today and I'm a little bit worried about the side effects. I don't consume alcohol at all and I'm 31 male.

  • Abigail didnt do well on metho, but she was 2. You guys need to get together- she still uses the Emla still for her Enbrel! Would liek to empower her more to take charge of her JRA! Im thinking of doing an enbrel injection video. :) Kudos to you guys! Take care!

She is luckly because, even though the has Polyarticular JRA- she has never developed Uveitis. How old was J when she had her first symptoms?

  • @JynMeyer

Uveitis showed up 6 months after the JRA dx, so she was about 3.5. Eyes have been clear for a year now!!!

Jordan LOVES to do videos when we do her injections. Because people reply and say that she's brave, good job, ect... it makes her feel like she's helping others with their shots. And she has... me for one :) You totally should have Abigail do a video. As bad as this is going to sound, Jordan would love to see another child do injections. The "I'm not the only one' thing.
