Great videos! You have a pretty good spanish, and that's why I wanted to note that its not "zoCAlo", its "ZÓcalo" (strong emphasis in the first syllable). Not trying to nag, just help you get even better :)

did your camera man or girl friend speak spanish? you should have been fine through baja, and Guadalajara has many english speakers, but i would imagine complications arising as you got in deeper into mexico. Good videos, I've been meaning to do this, but i do not have the motivation, but perhaps i'll catch a ride down there soon.
Great videos, I just find out your channel, very sweet, I was so wondering who was filming ... (I was like he doesn't talk about it ever...) ;) (you could by the way put a little description (who, when etc) on your website)

Being from LA/Mexican-American I thought “Ah I know the Mexican culture pretty well” but it’s not till you’re there that you’re like “Hmm this isn't like they do it in LA...” lol Hope one day I can visit Mazatlan and have as much fun as you did! Peace and best of luck on you're future trips.

i wanted to ask you if you remember where you bought the bus tickets to oaxaca, i was in mexico city 2 weeks ago and i remembered during som spare time, this video about oaxaca being so close and cheap, i went once to puerto escondido and huatuclo and ever since ive been wanting to go back. so i went to the buss station but they told me it cost 400 pesos min.
there are 4 main stations south, north center and east i think... do you remember the company?
@rconteb I purchased the ticket at the Tapo Bus Terminal for 388 pesos. I think that's the east one, but not 100% Keep in mind, the trip is delayed and the exchange rate fluctuated. So what could've been cheap for me, could now be a bit pricier. Hope this helps.
@rconteb Let me double check my receipts and notebooks. I may have messed up on this one somewhere on my files or calculations. sorry for the confusion.

Thats terrible that you are is such a incredible city and don't know what to do or where to go. If you do your homework and read a little you could do several episodes on just Oaxaca and vicinity and they would be very interesting!!!! @rafael55 You are so right! Peter, I was just there last week ... didn´t you notice the artistic movement going on in Oaxaca? Oaxaca is one of Mexico´s poorest states but one of the richest when it comes to culture... please do your homework :)
Hmm the only real complaint i have on most of your videos are that they are too short, one would expect there would be way more raw material considering how long you travel and what you see.

@ATAHUALPA867 yeah, it's a nice colonial town with great architecture, but wasn't sure what to do there. I guess there's a lot of cool stuff in the Oaxaca Region...like the beaches in the next episode
@pdrop Hey Peter you didn't show anything about the ruins of Monte Alban, ancient hilltop capital of a 2000 year old civilization. That would definitely be something to see, just a quick day-trip from the city. You and your people are doing an excellent job filming and editing btw.
