The incomparable vocal apocalypse of Rob Halford! The virtuoso harmonic heavenly guitar duels! The apoplectic crunchy percussive pounding skins and cymbals! The thundering flitting amazingly innovative hard bottom bass line! I'm as thunderstruck with awe at 51 as I was at 17! Rob, KK, Glenn, Ian and Scott: the best hard rock lineup EVER! The great bands that come after you, carry on your legacy as they come of age. You are the High Priests and We are Forever your Fervent Freaky Fatuous Followers!
For the countless Priest/Sabbath freaks out there like me, check out IronGod. It's the amazing Rob Halford filling in for the ill master Ozzy. Kicks ass!
If you have told one lie, that makes you a liar. If you have stolen one thing, that makes you a thief. JESUS said; if you look at a person with lust, you commit adultery in your heart! Ever used GOD's name in vain; then your a blasphemer and can't enter GOD's kingdom! Revelation 21v8 says; "All liars will have their part in the lake of fire!" The bible says; No thief or adulterer will inherit GOD's kingdom! You broke GOD's laws; but JESUS paid your fine! Repent, and trust the Savior!
@kittysbestfrend I agree. Les Binks was the best, regular lineup . Simon Phillips played drums on the Sin after Sin album. I always considered him the best drummer in JP even though he was only a session drummer brought in ,because they didn't have a drummer to record the album.
Judas Priest is a great,no,greatest metal group. And Halford,K.K. and Tipton are the great musicians! 9 persons who fall by the hand are not people, they are asseaters and cocksuckers
9 Pieces of dog shit live amongst us, they must die. How the fuck could you not love this song? Must be some of the those people that used to hold up those signs that we were all going to hell for going to a Priest concert. Thanks, for the good times!!!!
This is a song worth listening to in a Buick Grand National with a 4 bbl carb opening up, being pinned to the seat and doing 185 mph on the New Jersey Turnpike.
@harveydents dude he didnt blow them off. Think about how long they had been doing this for. The man is tired cut him some slack, its there last tour.
@strahm998 I agree to a point if he wanted to quit he shouldnt have practiced and then TWO WEEKS before the tour started he quits...dick move...he shuld have told them months ago...
I have a cassette of Judas Priest with this song on it, it's a real old one. All the band members are standing next to each other and looks like a regular picture of them. It's an actual studio album but I've never seen a copy of it anywhere that has the same picture on it. Is it a rare release or just an old original one that they did away with long ago?
im 39, snyder. I wouldnt say TooL were terribly inspired by Judas Priest. They were THE cornerstone, along with Sabbath i'd say. TooL really arent a british-style metal band. Infact they arent a metal band at all. Progressive rock with a punch, maybe. You'd be hard pressed to find a blues-lick ANYWHERE in TooL. @thebailey67 He just didn't want to do the farewell tour he just got tired and he is getting older but I think there was more involved..Anyways good luck to KK a legend..
@davidwallacekid Yeah, Holland was like their 6th (and my opinion JP's best) drummer. He came along in 1979 and played with the band for 10 years. Their original drummer was John Ellis (1970) followed by Alan Moore.
BEST ROCK SONG, METAL SONG, RAP SONG, COUNTRY/WESTERN SONG, LAS VEGAS LOUNGE ACT SONG, KAZOO SONG, JUSTIN FUCKING BIEBER SONG EVERRRR!!!!! Oh and the 7 that voted down this track should all be taken out and shot BEFORE THE DAWN!!!!!!!

One of the best, if not THE best Priest albums ever. I mean, all of thier stuff rocks, but this one in particular... goddamn. Sinner, Let Us Prey, Here Come The Tears, Dissadent Aggressor, all just pure fucking power and energy. The solo in Here Comes The Tears in particular is absolutely one of the most outstandingly beautiful and emotional peices of guitar work in recording history. There's an awesome live version of Let Us Prey from '78 floating around on YouTube. You MUST hear it. Amazing.
@coreeeey420 the only reason i think this isn't the best priest ever is the dreadful "last rose of summer," which wouldn't be so bad if not for its incredibly tedious structure.
@samboy1288 Yeah, but they always threw in the mellower song on the albums since the beginning. I guess it just helps to make the rest seem that much heavier.
@coreeeey420 i see your point, but i just think that song is dreadful. other songs in that category stand out, like "dreamer/deceiver," "beyond the realms of death," etc.
Your allllllllll fucking sinners!!!! YES UNLEASH THE DEVIL SO HE MAY COME AND PULL YA ALL DOWN IN THE BURNING FURNACE OF HELLLLLLL...wooooo HOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking sinners!

Funny, I've owned Unleashed in the East in every format possible, and have listened to the live version of this song countless times, and I don't recall ever hearing the studio cut of it before now. That was outstanding.
That psychedelic section section in the middle is just fucking mind blowing. I want this song played at my funeral, with that evil note at 3.19 going off just as they press the "burn" button.
Little do people know, that this song is one of the most ass-kicking rock or metal performances ever. It's not only the best Priest song, it's one of the most aggressive, most beautifully composed, and most flowing metal tracks ever.
THIS IS THE GREATEST JUDAS PRIEST SONG IN ALL ETERNITY!!! And if perchance you do not agree, I will (cap-lock time, again) RUN YOU OVER WITH A MOTORCYCLE (as soon as I learn how to ride one) AND CHUCK YOUR DEAD, WORTHLESS BODY IN A MEAT GRINDER (hopefully, one will be nearby)!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! AAAARRRRRGGGGGG!!! Okay, now I'm getting winded. But, seriously, this is a great song...a great, great song...THE GREATEST MOTHERFOOHACKING PRIEST SONG IN THE FOOHACKING UNIVERSE!!! FOOHACK YOU ALL!!!
IM DESPERATE FOR A GIRL (OR GUY) TO TAKE AWAY MY VIRGINITY, check out my profile siteflirtbox.co.uk/dating/neilp77.html IM A NERDY FUCK, NEVER HAD ANY MUSCLES, NEVER MET ANY FAMOUS BODYBUILDERS, IM A LIER, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
@Onslaughttitude Sorry man, can't agree. Devin Townsend's version is good, but no way is it better than this. He just shouts his damn head off and shreds the guitar to pieces which ruins the feel of the song, Rob Halford sings it. The guitar playing and drumming are far better on the original,
One of the best songs ever writen.I love this album.Every song on it is incredible.Who are these idiots who voted 7 thumbs down? They should never be allowed to listen to any music again, ever
this n 'sad wings' pure classic heavy rock..starbreaker n ripper always went down a storm live! saw em on 'sin after sin' tour!..1st of many priest gigs. ty for the upload!
now THAT, my friends, is some rockin' metal from when it really was metal. Judas Priest as they were peaking. Sin after Sin and then, of course, the untouchable Stained Class.
I love how the song changes at the end, slows down, breaks apart incongruously and then comes back with one of the most wicked guitar riffs ever recorded at 5:40, Downing and Tipton harmonizing the riff...classic 80s-style metal...awesome
Sin After Sin (1977) is by far one of the greatest 1970's heavy metal albums ever created. Im proud to say that I own this album on both vinyl and CD. These guys were so ahead of their time! :]
So, Rob's natural color hair was brown, not blonde?

Funny, I've owned Unleashed in the East in every format possible, and have listened to the live version of this song countless times, and I don't recall ever hearing the studio cut of it before now. That was outstanding.

That psychedelic section section in the middle is just fucking mind blowing. I want this song played at my funeral, with that evil note at 3.19 going off just as they press the "burn" button.

one of the best priest tracks ever always loved it

Sorry. Devin Townsend did it better.
Onslaughttitude 1 year ago
@Onslaughttitude Sorry man, can't agree. Devin Townsend's version is good, but no way is it better than this. He just shouts his damn head off and shreds the guitar to pieces which ruins the feel of the song, Rob Halford sings it. The guitar playing and drumming are far better on the original,

now THAT, my friends, is some rockin' metal from when it really was metal. Judas Priest as they were peaking. Sin after Sin and then, of course, the untouchable Stained Class.
I love how the song changes at the end, slows down, breaks apart incongruously and then comes back with one of the most wicked guitar riffs ever recorded at 5:40, Downing and Tipton harmonizing the riff...classic 80s-style metal...awesome
liljoe31 1 year ago
@liljoe31 Shouldn't that be 70s-style metal mate?

Sin After Sin (1977) is by far one of the greatest 1970's heavy metal albums ever created. Im proud to say that I own this album on both vinyl and CD. These guys were so ahead of their time! :]

I did not mean that he is a leather fag in a bad way. There is a sub group of gay men who get
their kicks out of leather. When he wears the leather hat it is a bit too much though.
