  • So, Rob's natural color hair was brown, not blonde?

  • Yes! I got view number 206,666! Heeeyaaaaahhhhh! :o)

  • always loved to jam to priest the most. been motivating me in the mornings for 25 years! Love that voice Rob!!!

  • The incomparable vocal apocalypse of Rob Halford! The virtuoso harmonic heavenly guitar duels! The apoplectic crunchy percussive pounding skins and cymbals! The thundering flitting amazingly innovative hard bottom bass line! I'm as thunderstruck with awe at 51 as I was at 17! Rob, KK, Glenn, Ian and Scott: the best hard rock lineup EVER! The great bands that come after you, carry on your legacy as they come of age. You are the High Priests and We are Forever your Fervent Freaky Fatuous Followers!

  • этот альбом у Пристов супер!!!

  • you're showing pictures of the group with Les Binks, when it was Simon Phillips that played drums on this album

  • The best of Priest is second to none. \m/ In fact Judas Priest are second to none.

    Hail The Faith.

  • why doesn't this have 9999999999999999999999999999999 million views? that's atleast how many times I've heard it..

  • cutting edge in 1977 for sure...still fresh.

  • @floatingcompassmedia

Dissident Aggressor was cutting edge in 1977. The Ripper was cutting edge in 1975.

  • Thats obvious, that Les wasnt one of them.....was hardly fixed on 70s style - colourful, cotton t-shirts,loose jeans

  • For the countless Priest/Sabbath freaks out there like me, check out IronGod. It's the amazing Rob Halford filling in for the ill master Ozzy. Kicks ass!

  • i would die to scream like rob...to be specific i would wanna scream the ending on tyrant

  • hasta me atreveria a decir que es el mejor tema de toodo el heavy metal en mi opinion, temazo de pies a cabeza

  • Great song and great pictures!

  • Probably my favorite Priest song. It's just friggin' awesome from beginning to end.

  • If you have told one lie, that makes you a liar. If you have stolen one thing, that makes you a thief. JESUS said; if you look at a person with lust, you commit adultery in your heart! Ever used GOD's name in vain; then your a blasphemer and can't enter GOD's kingdom! Revelation 21v8 says; "All liars will have their part in the lake of fire!" The bible says; No thief or adulterer will inherit GOD's kingdom! You broke GOD's laws; but JESUS paid your fine! Repent, and trust the Savior!

  • @EXALTEDDIRT shut the fuck up.

  • Priests best drummer was Les Binks by far. Then Moore, Holland,Hincks(or whatever), etc. all are good, just not near as good as Les.

  • @kittysbestfrend I agree. Les Binks was the best, regular lineup . Simon Phillips played drums on the Sin after Sin album. I always considered him the best drummer in JP even though he was only a session drummer brought in ,because they didn't have a drummer to record the album.

  • Judas Priest is a great,no,greatest metal group. And Halford,K.K. and Tipton are the great musicians! 9 persons who fall by the hand are not people, they are asseaters and cocksuckers

  • How can't ya love this?

  • why was rob holing a gun in that one picture lol

  • 9 Pieces of dog shit live amongst us, they must die. How the fuck could you not love this song? Must be some of the those people that used to hold up those signs that we were all going to hell for going to a Priest concert. Thanks, for the good times!!!!

  • Like fine wine, this music just get better with age.

  • No body ever sounded like that back in 70's. Only the Metal Gods themselves!!!

  • 9 dislikes?????Wtf?????

  • 9 peoples will fall by the hand of the Sinner!

  • You sorry sports fruit showering with other men makes you excited, doesn't it! You just can't admit it, right! Sack of SHITE!

  • Eu amo essa musica \m/

  • I crank this one up speeding down I 10 in my camaro!!...

  • @sarualf It only counts if you have a Mullet! hahaha

  • @malibuconv1968 lmao!

  • @malibuconv1968 I haven't had long hair since the 80's, not a big fan of the mullet...

  • Fucking epic song!

  • The best JP song in my opinion.

  • One of Priest's darkest songs. Halford never lets up, such a talented vocalist!!!! \m/

  • I wake up everyday to this song!!

  • This is a song worth listening to in a Buick Grand National with a 4 bbl carb opening up, being pinned to the seat and doing 185 mph on the New Jersey Turnpike.

  • SImon MOFO Phillips on the the drums baby!

  • KK IS A SINNER!! HE BLEW OFF THE BOYS FOR THE EPITAPH TOUR!!! WHAT A JERK!

  • @harveydents dude he didnt blow them off. Think about how long they had been doing this for. The man is tired cut him some slack, its there last tour.

  • @strahm998 I agree to a point if he wanted to quit he shouldnt have practiced and then TWO WEEKS before the tour started he quits...dick move...he shuld have told them months ago...

  • @harveydents Yeah thats is true.. That is pretty much the definition of dick move right there but i still respect him tho...ITS KK Man :D

  • 母さんが言う 「こういうパーマは変だ」と 死のう!

  • @hiroshi558 ? lol

  • devil will take your soul away...mine too!

  • I have a cassette of Judas Priest with this song on it, it's a real old one. All the band members are standing next to each other and looks like a regular picture of them. It's an actual studio album but I've never seen a copy of it anywhere that has the same picture on it. Is it a rare release or just an old original one that they did away with long ago?

  • sorry. that wasnt nice. I was drunk.

im 39, snyder. I wouldnt say TooL were terribly inspired by Judas Priest. They were THE cornerstone, along with Sabbath i'd say. TooL really arent a british-style metal band. Infact they arent a metal band at all. Progressive rock with a punch, maybe. You'd be hard pressed to find a blues-lick ANYWHERE in TooL. Anyway, The Priest will always rule, based on so many levels of great, but TooL also rule, and have influenced as many. Also, they're spooky.

  • @motorfly I always found Tool to be very inspired by King Crimson, Killing Joke with a hint of Roxy Music.

  • TooL touched em'good.

  • @motorfly Are you 10? No knowledge of where Tool came from.......Priest is the cornerstone you dork

  • KK just retired from Judas Priest today..Good Luck to you my friend!!

  • @LBjim I know...why did he leave?

  • @thebailey67 He just didn't want to do the farewell tour he just got tired and he is getting older but I think there was more involved..Anyways good luck to KK a legend..

  • I Love \m/

  • my friends listen folk .my friends i s big sinners. They will punich bt JUDAS PRIEST

  • そこに無いってば

  • JP's original drummer, Dave Holland, is currently doing time for child molestation. I was rather disappointed to find this out.

  • @Madcappiper holy shit whats happening paul di'anno the first singer of iron maiden is in jail for fraud

now i hope some pop artist gets done for crimes against humanity

  • @davidwallacekid they should do time for crimes against music

  • @TOSportsFan1990 You should choke on your own vomit and DIE, you sorry piece of human excrement!

  • @Thelordaxis I was referring to modern pop music, not JUDAS PRIEST, who are the fucking Metal Gods.

  • @davidwallacekid Yeah, Holland was like their 6th (and my opinion JP's best) drummer. He came along in 1979 and played with the band for 10 years. Their original drummer was John Ellis (1970) followed by Alan Moore.

  • @braincrisp1 Holland wasn't the best drummer. Mediocre and lame. Isn't he still in jail for sexually abusing a crippled teenager?

  • @PumpkinPuffer 'Til next year - 2012

  • @Madcappiper he wasnt their original drummer. They had like 2 guys before him

  • i heard the singer is you know...

    old.

  • @juker606 and bald...

  • @beerjitsu are you baldphobic?

  • THANKS 2 SIMON PHILLIPS 4 HIS GREAT DRUMMING.

JUST ANOTHER GREAT-TUNE FROM THE MY-T PRIEST.

    P.BONHAM MAVRAKIS

  • i lold at kk's moustache

  • Has Bobby ever had a girlfriend before he told the whole world that he is gay? I mean, like WAY before? Just askin' outta curiousity.

  • @HarryPotter87 he has said in interviews he knew he was gay when he was like 13, so i dont think so

  • @hairmonster12 Wow. Very young!

  • BEST ROCK SONG, METAL SONG, RAP SONG, COUNTRY/WESTERN SONG, LAS VEGAS LOUNGE ACT SONG, KAZOO SONG, JUSTIN FUCKING BIEBER SONG EVERRRR!!!!! • I can either pump iron, or nail my wife to this

  • Az első Priest dal amit hallottam, meghatározó élmény!

    Köszönöm Priest!

  • does anybody know what happend to preist first drummer alan moore?

  • @doomsdaygray I don't know but from what i read he was Priests second drummer. Could be false info though?

  • @doomsdaygray Also I read that he became a truck driver. There has been people trying to trace him and were unsucessful.

  • @hermygagala thankx for the info :)

  • is thewre anyone that compares to the foundation>>????no one!!!!

    What a monster album.

  • judas priest IS heavy metal

  • 6:11 死のう~~~~!

  • Thanks for putting this up. I'm sitting here, drinking my 8th JD and Coke, totally loving this. Early Judas Priest is incredible. I just worked out that I would need a whole ipod nano to put my Priest and Motorhead collection on. But then, what else would I need? lol.

  • @jamesvolunteer Go to Leaflydotcom & you can see which herb strains are good for listening to music ( No Hangover ) lol

  • @jamesvolunteer Buy the Judas Priest one on thier website :D

  • @jamesvolunteer maybe some black sabbath and ur set! haha

  • 7 people shall fall by the hand of the SINNER!!!

  • I hate it when they squeeze 'bonus' tracks on a classic album. Its as if it wasnt good enough to stand on its own. 'Bonus' for what????? Sometimes less is more!

Oh and the 7 that voted down this track should all be taken out and shot BEFORE THE DAWN!!!!!!!

  • so far 7 people should have their teeth punched in

  • they should be famous or something...

  • that song is soooo sick... Simon Phillips baby, killer drumming

  • Comment removed

  • man there are some great pics of Halford here. good job. real butch!

  • JP greatest metal band ever imo!

  • The Lyrics, the Vocals, The drumming, it's all just fantastic in the 70's. I'd love to have been able to see them live in the 70's. Rob/Glenn/KK/Ian have always made their presence felt within the music, it has always had personality. You can really Feel the Difference when Phillips/Binks were drumming!

  • easily .....The best Priest album ...in my Humble opinion

  • JUDAS PRIEST IS THE BEST BAND!!!!!!!

  • I love the drummer's hi hat behind the part where Rob is singing "Can't you hear their souls calling out in their plight? Can't you see their blood is boiling setting them alight"

Anyone here also get a kick out of that?

  • @1971SuperLead - You must be a drummer! :) I never noticed that specific part, but thought Simon Phillip's drumming on this song was excellent overall.

  • @Volvo745T Nope, I'm a guitar player, but I do love a drummer who knows his hi-hat. Maybe because so many drummers just clang their hi-hats with litlle regard. I like a good tic tic tisk from the hi-hats.

Simon is hitting those hi-hats with amazing precision and taste.

I also thing James from the Smashing Pumpkins was a remarkable drummer.

  • @Volvo745T The hi-hats really start to shine at 5:09 and then all through the following solo. So tasteful! Who else plays like that? I love this song, but always end up just listening to the hi-hats. lol

  • @1971SuperLead Very astute! Even years later, when I think of this song I think of Simon's hi-hat fill from 5:09-5:12.

  • @letekro Cool!

  • @1971SuperLead always loved that little bit, I find myself listening to the whole song just to get it ;D

  • @LauenPower That is so cool! I thought I was maybe the only person who loved his hi-hats, but now I see it's a more common event than I imagined!

  • If you don't sacrifice to vice, you'll die by my hands. Priest warned you way back in '77, but now it's 2010 and I've been born again. The SINNER!!!!

  • "Sacrifice to vice or die by the hands of a SINNER!!!"

"Curse and damn you all, you'll die by the hands of a SINNER!!!"

    FTW

  • One of the best, if not THE best Priest albums ever. I mean, all of thier stuff rocks, but this one in particular... goddamn. Sinner, Let Us Prey, Here Come The Tears, Dissadent Aggressor, all just pure fucking power and energy. The solo in Here Comes The Tears in particular is absolutely one of the most outstandingly beautiful and emotional peices of guitar work in recording history. There's an awesome live version of Let Us Prey from '78 floating around on YouTube. You MUST hear it. Amazing.

  • @coreeeey420 the only reason i think this isn't the best priest ever is the dreadful "last rose of summer," which wouldn't be so bad if not for its incredibly tedious structure.

  • @samboy1288 Yeah, but they always threw in the mellower song on the albums since the beginning. I guess it just helps to make the rest seem that much heavier.

  • @coreeeey420 i see your point, but i just think that song is dreadful. other songs in that category stand out, like "dreamer/deceiver," "beyond the realms of death," etc.

  • @samboy1288 Probably my favourite Priest song..Oh well...horses for courses I guess...

  • @MultiDean75 funny, this song playing right here is MY favorite haha

  • psychedelic metal, fuck yeah \m/

  • Ah 6:02!

  • I love it when narrow minded Christians chime in.........Ohhhhhh Nooooooo.......lol.....LOVE THIS SONG!!

  • Way Ahead of it's Time - These Song Fucking Rocks - DRDRUMS

  • Fucking AWESOME!

  • Your allllllllll fucking sinners!!!! YES UNLEASH THE DEVIL SO HE MAY COME AND PULL YA ALL DOWN IN THE BURNING FURNACE OF HELLLLLLL...wooooo HOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking sinners!

  • @aubhar - Yeah that would be great.... If your god(s) were real! Praise some real idols instead of ficticious made up brainwashing junk. Judas Priest are gods and are real unlike crappy religious ideology! Those idiots worshipping the pope made me chuckle. Chuckle REAL good!

  • Comment removed

  • OMG! I and my brother & parents saw them play with Def Lepord opening back in 1980! tickets were $6.50/USD

  • @Wyobiker1 - that would have been great - pity about the support band though.

  • @NeilThompson30 not back then! def leppard were genuinely awesome NWOBHM fledglings back then!

  • @samboy1288 - hmmm - they'll always be a bunch of kids trying to play 70s rock to me - they're just like you and me - totally in awe of bands like Priest and UFO - which is great - but I never got them (I was once in a lift in Covent Garden tube station with all of them - all wearing spandex trousers and high heeled boots!!)

  • Nice sound quality on this!!!

  • They should play this more

  • Devin Townsend dominated a cover version of this.

  • at 2:57 i meant

  • guys whos the the guy inbetween rob and the one of the far right

  • @lexybaby2225 That's Glen Tipton.

  • Funny, I've owned Unleashed in the East in every format possible, and have listened to the live version of this song countless times, and I don't recall ever hearing the studio cut of it before now. That was outstanding.

  • Sinner Rider. Rides in with the Storm.

  • good song

  • That psychedelic section section in the middle is just fucking mind blowing. I want this song played at my funeral, with that evil note at 3.19 going off just as they press the "burn" button.

  • one of the best priest tracks ever always loved it

  • Little do people know, that this song is one of the most ass-kicking rock or metal performances ever. It's not only the best Priest song, it's one of the most aggressive, most beautifully composed, and most flowing metal tracks ever.

  • THIS IS THE GREATEST JUDAS PRIEST SONG IN ALL ETERNITY!!! And if perchance you do not agree, I will (cap-lock time, again) RUN YOU OVER WITH A MOTORCYCLE (as soon as I learn how to ride one) AND CHUCK YOUR DEAD, WORTHLESS BODY IN A MEAT GRINDER (hopefully, one will be nearby)!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! AAAARRRRRGGGGGG!!! Okay, now I'm getting winded. But, seriously, this is a great song...a great, great song...THE GREATEST MOTHERFOOHACKING PRIEST SONG IN THE FOOHACKING UNIVERSE!!! FOOHACK YOU ALL!!!

  • Judas Fucking Priest are HUGE!

  • Sad wings of destiny, sin after sin, stained class.......the best Priest albums ever

  • @proxima The trilogy of 'S' is what I call them

  • Devin's song is best cover song.

But JP's original song is not changed easily from any other cover songs.

  • Priest Masterpiece

  • Sorry. Devin Townsend did it better.

  • @Onslaughttitude Sorry man, can't agree. Devin Townsend's version is good, but no way is it better than this. He just shouts his damn head off and shreds the guitar to pieces which ruins the feel of the song, Rob Halford sings it. The guitar playing and drumming are far better on the original,

  • nope

  • Awesome!, I hadn't heard this since about 1980. This was a great album.

  • 母さんが言う、「こういうパーマは変だ、と」。

    死のう~~~~~~~~~!

  • @hiropon355 メタル部門は、爆笑空耳が多いですよねwww

  • One of the best songs ever writen.I love this album.Every song on it is incredible.Who are these idiots who voted 7 thumbs down? They should never be allowed to listen to any music again, ever

  • Very beautiful sounds!!

  • How can there be any dislikes? Those early albums are total classics.

  • this n 'sad wings' pure classic heavy rock..starbreaker n ripper always went down a storm live! saw em on 'sin after sin' tour!..1st of many priest gigs. ty for the upload!

  • Funny how their first major label album was their most non-commercial musically.

    Love 70's Priest.

  • this was my first priest album and the best one.

  • one of my all time faviorites. amazing guitar riff

  • Absolutely love it. Priest forever.

  • nice vid, and one of the best songs of THE METAL GODS, THANKS JUDAS PRIEST

    HEY i gut also a vid whit this song, its the best of both worlds, here the world of anime colides whit the worl of metal;

naruto judas priset hell bent for leather_0001.WMV

  • now THAT, my friends, is some rockin' metal from when it really was metal. Judas Priest as they were peaking. Sin after Sin and then, of course, the untouchable Stained Class.

I love how the song changes at the end, slows down, breaks apart incongruously and then comes back with one of the most wicked guitar riffs ever recorded at 5:40, Downing and Tipton harmonizing the riff...classic 80s-style metal...awesome

  • @liljoe31 Shouldn't that be 70s-style metal mate?

  • Sin After Sin (1977) is by far one of the greatest 1970's heavy metal albums ever created. Im proud to say that I own this album on both vinyl and CD. These guys were so ahead of their time! :]

  • 本当に空耳アワーの部分は面白いです。

  • what does Rob whisper during the chorus?

  • Curse and damn... God of the devils...

  • BGF.....awesome photos!

  • @ johnsmith99ify... It's about time you came out of the closet yourself

  • I did not mean that he is a leather fag in a bad way. There is a sub group of gay men who get

their kicks out of leather. When he wears the leather hat it is a bit too much though.

  • Right after you suck my dick.
