For some reason this song always reminds me of celebrities, and how they are followed constantly, and ultimately judged by people who see their stories out of context.
my uncle died on thanksgiving shortly after we all finished diner. me my sister cousins my cousin kenzi's boyfriend denton and my uncle sean where downstairs when we heard something fall and people where panicking when denton ran up stairs and i was told my Uncle Paul just had a stroke upstairs and i was devistated when i was told he didnt make it 5 minutes after he was taken to the hospital and it still bothers me that my father slept in and we missed his funeral im sorry Uncle paul RIP
This song struck kind of a different chord with me from the first time I heard it. My uncle and his wife got a divorce; she gained full custody of their three kids and he rarely got to see them. He drank in response to the loss of the most important part of his life and tragically took his own life. It breaks my heart when I hear people talk about how people who commit suicide are automatically condemned to hell with no redemption. It is not our place to judge a man. I love you Uncle Rick <3 RIP

I carried my own best friend to his grave. Mike was only 15. What a fucking shame. God, please give Michael brooks his wings. RIP Mike, I miss you buddy.

@BmoreSavage111 when I was growing up, I spent about 6 years living in Oklahoma City. The cops there were assholes. They once shot someone for shoplifting instead of arresting them. They will write you a ticket for not having the right attitiude when talking to them. It was like a people's republic over there.

If your friend would've gotten shot in OKC, the 11 year old most likely wouldn't gotten off easy, he'd've probably gotten life sentence or something.

I've seen these guys multiple times. The last time I saw them was in Colorado Springs in a little bar called "the black sheep". It fits only 300 people, and no matter where you stand you are basically front row, right next to these guys. Brent was fantastic as usual. Shinedown is simply amazing, and the emotion becomes brighter with each CD.

@BmoreSavage111 when I was growing up, I spent about 6 years living in Oklahoma City. The cops there were assholes. They once shot someone for shoplifting instead of arresting them. They will write you a ticket for not having the right attitiude when talking to them. It was like a people's republic over there.

@BmoreSavage111 One day me and my friends were playing with airsoft guns and having an airsoft fight in our front yard and cops were driving through the neighboorhood and almost arrested us, we weren't even using real guns. If your friend would've gotten shot in OKC, the 11 year old most likely wouldn't gotten off easy, he'd've probably gotten life sentence or something.

@jokemasterslifer I'm not sure the story you read, but investigators told my friends care taker he was running away when he was shot. If you knew my friend you would know he wouldn't have even been in the same house as that kid, had he known he had a gun. You can think it's an accident, I don't give a shit, I know who killed my friend and I hope they rot in hell. Believe them over me, that's wonderful.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the story had a Michael Brooks who was 15 and was killed by an 11 year old in Baltimore. If his Dad is an ex-cop, I'm pretty sure it would be easy to falsify that. I believe you more, just so you know.

Shinedown is an awesome band, they came to LR in 08 but sadly I couldn't go because it was a school nite! -.- So I sat there doing my homework while listening to their cd and religze that their song pretty much relate to anyone's life that's having problems. So still sitting there listening I thought: 'I'm glad other people who are at the concert gets to hear their messages tonight.' So I actually Thanked my parents for not letting me go to the concert. I've seen these guys multiple times. The last time I saw them was in Colorado Springs in a little bar called "the black sheep". It fits only 300 people, and no matter where you stand you are basically front row, right next to these guys. Brent was fantastic as usual. Shinedown is simply amazing, and the emotion becomes brighter with each CD.
