So much of info about the Magpie Phil... Very useful video for all of us... Hope you will go on making such videos with all that wealth of info..............Thank you for creating these videos....
My parents always told me, as a kid, that the magpies are Nature's naughtiest thiefs, because the collect éverything that sparkles and glitters, and keep it in their nests... Is that true Phil ?
Beautiful video (lesson) about this beautiful bird Phil...
That bad about insecticides, I thought this was being brought under control as it is becoming harmful to humans also. Its beautiful bird I dont get to see it this way, they spend their time pottering along rooftop and rather comical they look too. The tree at the back wills me shedding soon so they properly are of somewhere else. Nice clip Phil Thank you x♥x
They are awesome birds and large too, and fun to watch as you so rightly say. In the 70's we posined wildlife with insecticides. These days, the insecticides are so much more effective, they dont harm the boirds so much, because they kill the insects, which the birds need to eat, and thus we are starving them.
looking up the name Magpie in arabic, it shows that the magpie is from the crow family! this is astonishing, this one is far good looking and elegant that the typical black crow :-)
You are quite correct, it is a member of the crow family, but as you said, much better looking, however, the crow is a beautiful bird too. Thank you Najib my friend.
not a fan of the magpie. but nice video.
