ay i got a rootkit its infect with atapi driver. i got a laptop and i got the same file but it does have a rootkit and on the other it does. can i just copy the new atapi and replace it with the one that has a rootkit. or will it fuck up. im a replace it with a new one. cause the one i have for my laptop is fine but on my computer it has a rootkitt. can i just replace with a usb
Why not get rid of Vista and put in XP. I know there was a time Microsoft would allow to go back to XP for those who purchased a system with Vista. Won't hurt to drop them an email.
@ctsfiddler If it was my computer i would have just put windows 7 on it and tweak the jeebuz out of it, seeing that it is a powerful laptop. However this was a client's system and since I charge by the hour, I try to balance resolution time with cost.
