I've checked on the text of both declarations and the one that declares war on Japan is approved but the one that says war on Germany is not approved.

It is possible that the declaration of war enacted by congress does not contain the word germany in it. It might just say Japan and then just assumed that the president can fight a war against germany since they declared war on us. It might be a technichality that can be cleared up by actually looking at the legislation itself.

As a former truck driver, it takes more to offend me. Biden was talking to Obama & was caught on an open mic. I do know of examples where Democrats have gotten caught embellishing their own credentials, such as Blumenthal in Connecticut, but where are the examples of them making up shit against their opponents? It is possible that the declaration of war enacted by congress does not contain the word germany in it. It might just say Japan and then just assumed that the president can fight a war against germany since they declared war on us. It might be a technichality that can be cleared up by actually looking at the legislation itself.

There have already been several suits filed against SB1070. It won't pass Constitutional muster in any court. Arizona doesn't have the authority to pass immigration laws. That is reserved for the US Congress. Arizona overstepped its authority, so this idiotic racist law will fail in court long before it is enacted.
There is no way to prevent law enforcement from racial profiling and this law simply encourages them to do so. It gives officers the authority to harass innocent Americans...

As a former truck driver, it takes more to offend me. Biden was talking to Obama & was caught on an open mic. I'm pretty sure most guys I've ever met have used the word at least once in their lives, so I can't imagine most guys losing any sleep over hearing the word which was only meant for Obama's ears. It was a pretty Fucking Big Deal getting health care passed after so many others before him had failed.
Cheney's use of the word was a perfect example of the hate coming from his side...

With our 24/7 contentious news cycle, I'm amazed that more of these gaffes aren't caught on tape. I don't think anyone becomes a saint once they go into politics. Biden is known for his frank demeanor, so it shouldn't have been a shock to hear his words, which were intended only for Obama's ears. The right is always going to be looking for an excuse to be angry about something. Nothing we do or don't is going to stop them. If they can't find something that is true, they simply make shit up.

I have no need to prove anything to myself. I care about the facts. So far, you have made claims but have failed to back them up with any facts. It's really a simple process. You make a claim and provide examples to support it. If I believe something, I use facts and logic to try to present my case. It's not that difficult when you have facts and logic on your side. I'm very aware of the lies being spread by the right against their opponents, but it's rare to hear those on the left acting the same way. I would be interested in examples if you have them. I do know of examples where Democrats have gotten caught embellishing their own credentials, such as Blumenthal in Connecticut, but where are the examples of them making up shit against their opponents? That seems to be something that the right thrives on. The false equivalences get very old...

It's much harder to back up the claims with examples, especially if there are few examples available. Without clear & equivalent examples proving that both sides engage in lies about their opponents, it's pretty difficult to argue that their sins are equivalent.
