  • have loved brian since i was 12 now 44 still love him awesome

  • Stray cats pwn seen em live Brian is the bomb on guitar

  • Brian is the prettiest I've seen.

And he is a god on guitar ... love him and the cats! <3

  • UNREAL!

  • ohhh fuu...... so sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @__@

  • Great initial footage! I really love this! What a band!!

  • yeah, mos def, the Cats should be in the R & R Hall. No Doubt. Who votes for that scam shit?

  • i fall in love with brian *u* he`s something else!!

i just discivered this guys and i already love them!!

  • haha, watch Lee walk on at 0:50 and pick up his bass, how cool is he????

  • my kitty kat likes you

  • very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man, I love Jim's clothes here.

  • Got Stonned,on slow play

  • Everytime I see these guys or Setzer all I can think about is how incredibly full of shit the Rock and Roll hall of fame is. Madonna is inducted but these guys aren`t even though they started their careers the same time. A chick who plays watered down lame ass disco is Rock and Roll, but a bunch of dudes who actually play real Rock and Roll aren`t Rock and Roll enough for the hall of fame.

  • @JackHauss

    100% agreed

  • @JackHauss

agreed one million times. It's not only that. It's these Guitar magazines, radio stations and record companies. I'm tired of seeing the Iommi's, Satrianis, Hammets, Malmsteens and Van Halens all over the fucking place. Maybe it's just my ridiculous bias but Setzer should've been a huge going back 30 years ago. Instead, he gets scrutinized for trying to revive a musical style that we Americans fail to embrace as our own invention.

  • @JackHauss I´d say that´s the coolest thing!!! Rock and Roll was born in the street... why care about a stupid "institution" called the "Hall of Fame"???? Neither the Cats nor Rock & Roll need that shit!!!

  • @JackHauss look at what Brian Setzer does now, and look at madonna. Brian setzer doesnt get hall of fame love, but all his peers have tremendous amount of respect for him and his musicianship.

  • @JackHauss Amen Brother!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @JackHauss, exactly !

  • @JackHauss, exactly !(I agree with you)

  • @JackHauss

    amen!

  • Classic !!

  • I really love this WHOLE video and the song so much!! MY FAVOURITE STRAY CAT VIDEO. SO COOL! JUST LOVE IT.

  • the wanderer, dion & belmonts...

  • @SARDINIABOY thank you !

  • What's the name of the song whos introducing the Cats ?

  • Ive seen Setzer play jazz, big band , country and even classical. Hes a Rockabilly artist at heart, and thats what moves him. He has a sound that when he plays, you know it's Setzer.

  • Brian Setzer is undoubtedly a great guitar player, but I wonder what else he can do on the guitar besides the Rockabilly niche he's always stuck with. Talent like that shouldn't be kept to just one genre of music. Just my humble opinion.

  • well, i saw stray cats live in concert and he came out and did a fucken unbelievable cover of Ace of Spades by motorhead so at least he can do hard rock as well... and i have seen him do some incredible jazz licks also

  • @SatanicMajesty Ummm... the Brian Setzer Orchestra. Ever heard of it?

  • @Parsa9 Ummmmmmmm....yeah. Sounds like Rockabilly. At least all of the bootlegs I have of the BSO do.

  • Brian Setzer sure could make it look effortless

    (the guitar playing that is)!

  • great ! great !

  • Well well well..... my my my......look at Brian!

  • @luvsmercury before he became an old man. lol. poor guy.

  • and a little bit of race with the devil solo :)

  • I was at this show at the US Festival. Awesome show.

  • Sorry mate but it is 'Double Talking Baby'

If you don't believe do a lyrics search, you will find that we are right.

  • The solo is 'quoting' Gene Vincent's Blue Jean Bop for sure, & why not? This band was great, responsible for introducing a whole new generation (including myself) to Vincent's & Eddie Cochran's music. Thanks for posting this!

  • this song's Gene's, so it's really possible, and yeah, they've paid their respect to their idols, Gene, Eddie and all the others somewhere above (or below) must be proud!

  • Love these guys. I was 2 days old when this show was recorded....Fuckin Rad!!

  • does anybody have this show on dvd i can buy?

  • its the us festival google it

  • i know i like the cats set and the heavy metal day too

  • what's the name of the song at the beginning of the video (before they get on stage)?

    STRAY CATS RULE!

  • It's called 'The Wanderer' from the artist called Dion.

Status Quo also played the song.

  • brings me back to the days!!!!kick ass

  • setzers jacket is great

  • setzer himself IS GREAT

  • to play a song in a slower tempo and still kickin it - only very few really good musicians can do such a thing . Playing loud & fast is easy... slow it down and make it still groove - thats Cat's style !

  • well you pretty much took the words right outta my mouth. i was thinking the exact same thing -- this was the slowest, bluesiest version of this song I've heard yet, and it was sublime. Here here!

  • brillant!!!!

  • its too slow. but not tooo bad and it aint the best trio. ive herd better but they are good.

  • The tempo of this version is slower than the original but it still rocks! Thanks for posting it!

  • Speechless!!!

  • slim jim's suit is awsome.

  • The greatest Rockabilly trio EVER! Great to see. Thanx 32deuce. Brian's so shit hot it scares the hell outta me. lol

  • Wow 23 years ago! Loved the little Gene Vincent lick, thanks deuce for all the new stuff you've posted. V
