very nice graphic capability it has. all the shadowing and reflection. maybe the lag is because it's a tech demo which isn't fully optimised or something.
i have a Nokia N900 and by me it never has frezen sivnce i bouhgt it im proud of my Nokia n900 in this vidio perhaps the tv out was the creator of the frezing somtimes. 3 friend have iphone 3gs and one of them have seem me playng this game and he was abruptness wen he saw my playng bounc and i had also music player on and 2 other programs.Nokia n1
@vclebs the iphone 3gs/ipod touch can do tv out for games too -.-' it's called "landscape tv out" it's on cydia and it's so smoothly ,,lol this demo lags so bad
This phone is better than any HTC probably ever will be. I don't think they even make a HTC handset with a 3D graphics accelorator. Infact I don't think they even have a phone with an accelerometer in it yet.
hehehehe Its impressing how bouce, has progressed!!! I remember when I played it in nokia 7250, later, in s60 phones like 3650, later in ngage 2.0 haha And now look at this!! is just bounce, but it has great graphics. too much for a simple game. I love nokia and I always will. it has no challenger.
maybe they can fix that lag or there was probably many programs running in the phone. btw in my 5800 older version of bounce were lagging pretty much first but after phones updates it didn't lag never again
It freezes just like all the other nokias also do, i was always using nokia devices before but now the new devices are just crap. switched to HTC and now everything works just fine.
Just like the N95, when the firmware got fast and stable, the device was already really old.
I played around with an N900 around a week ago, and tested Bounce while I was at it. The framerates were uneven at certain points (the phone was pulling in torrents, checking twitter feeds and running MSN, at least, in the background), but it never stopped like this.
So, either it's fixed, the stopping had to do with TV-out or the phone was just under heavy load.
No, at 1:14 the game freezes again, and the camera clearly moves away from the frozen screen. The phone was freezing up. I was amazed at the graphics though, but I am not going to be playing games on this thing when I get it.
Okay I take that comment back. Somehow her setup causes the jumping. In another video, 5 apps are running in the background and still Bounce won't freeze.
Both the vid and the mobile phone freeze. Consider the fact the game is still in development, I'm VERY impressed with what's the device is capable of. I'm sure the freezes wont exist in the final release.
Seemed to have some problems with short freezes, but i assume (and hope) it's only because it was a pre-production unit and pre-release software. Still, the graphics were really good and the resolutions (screen native, 800x480) of the TV-out signal rocks!
i hear van halen's "eruption" in the background

The phone AND the camera is freezing. Look at 1:14 the TV freezes, but the camera is still moving.

It runs fine on the phone itself, what's the TV out on the iPhone 3G like when you play 3D games?
guitaristanime 2 years ago
nope.
Test without the tv output and you see.
the 3GS can't output the game to the tv

@Manuelito21cbtis the record camera of this video isn't so good.
And N900 is at 800x480, while iPhone is 320x480........
kamisakea 1 year ago
@MarcinAkaMariano maybe it's superior to Nokia 900 (if there is one lol!)
But Nokia N900 > iPhuck 3GS
PS: if you didn't noticed out, Nokia 900 and Nokia N900 aren't the same... ( nokia 900 doesn't exists i think)

uhhh...the freezing is not due to the phone; its a result of poor video/camera...

and as proof, you can see it happen at 0:06 before the demo even starts.

I really wanna believe that the N900 will be a messiah of sorts, but I'm pretty sure that jumping will be in the first couple of software versions.
JackDuran 2 years ago
probably it freezes because of tv-out

It's the video itself that freezes, not the phone. You can see the chick freeze several times at the beging of the video.

So can we also watch movies through the tv out? That would be great. Although 800x480 wont like great on a HD TV i reckon.
