This means our Messiah, Immanuel, was probably born during the feast of tabernacles, was 'cut off' on preparation day, and rose from the dead on first fruits! Amazing stuff.

Jesus also tells us to keep God's commandments, which He summarizies as loving God with all our heart and soul and might, and loving one another as our own selves. remember that even in Hebrew Scriptures a new covenant is prophesied, which will be unlike the Mosaic law (Jeremiah 31:31-34).

@truthjusticeandpeace well the three criteria for cannonization were the trustiworthiness of those Gospels, authorship, and an early and apostolic date. these Gos pels had already been trusted and treasured by generations of Christians before canonization. the variation found from manuscript to manuscript is also well documented, and even so all Gospel manuscripts agree 97-99% with one another, from earliest to latest, in content and even word order.

@truthjusticeandpeace actually, a Hebrew copy of Matthew was reportedly kept in an Orthodox Church in India for a time, but may have been destroyed. brother, no such conspiracy as you say exists. the Gospel of the Hebrews is also well documented, basically the Gospel of Mattew, but written for a Jewish audience, and a bit different from Matthew. the Jewish roots of Christianity are very much alive! just check out the Ethiopian Orthrodox, Syriac Orthodox, and Nasrani Christians of India.

Paul broke with the apostles in Antioch. There was word that he was preaching a heretical doctrine. When he revealed that he was a Roman citizen, Roman soldiers had to save him and that was the final break between him and the apostles.
