@johnholby Yes there are a few great charities out there. Personally I'm a fan of the charities that help grow successful communities in third world countries. (Building schools, community centers, etc.)

I believe jumpstarting a communities is the way to go and then letting them grow and sustain themselves by working with other communities nearby who we have also helped. This results in greater success!
