hey i live in san antonio and i was wondering if this would work for tmobile and also can u send and recive text calls and internet thx and also how much did u buy the phone for?
wait...so ur phone works with at&t on gsm mode and u can recieve and send phone calls and recieve and send sms too? cuz im looking to get sh906i an i absolutely wanna go to at&t...so can u do all those things?
definately convinced me to buy it hey. but now i got it i dont know how to load pics onto it from pc because everything is in ???'s instead of writing. i never got the cd so do you know any way i can do it? the forums got me more confused then ever!
you don't need any cd to transfer files. you do need the original oem docomo usb cable. once you have that you can transfer files once you have named them correctly. basically, the folders that you need to place the files you want to transfer do not appear unless you have files in them already. Take an existing picture on the phone and transfer it to the micro sd. This will create a folder for images. Next you need to rename the images you want to transfer accordingly.
You can find more info if you look at the english instruction manual for the F-01a which is on the Docomo site it was a big help. It may sound confusing but it really isn't. Hope that helps.
so is everything unlocked? like internet and mms settings? if you could could you tell me everything that is unlocked cause i am planning on getting this phone and i have at&t too
4. Take out the SIM card and place it on docomo phone with the hypersim card.
5. Thats it, it should show up as GPRS and full signal strenght. if GSM, keep trying.
*note
i forgot to mention, your jap phone or softbank phone must be on GSM/GPRS mode, not 3G/GSM, otherwise it won't work. And also, set the phone to manual connect. ^^ it save you battery. ^^
anyone got any solution to my problem. I got Mr. Sim Hypersim, it came with the phone. I get an error saying "This UIM cannot be recognized". ? anyone? please. i don't wanna have to spend 100 bucks for iNex Hypersim (if i really need to, then yes). i live in the United States, using ATT dumbass fucking network. ^^
To put it simply, Mr. Sim isn't worth a thing if you don't know how to reprogram it.
The only two that are proven to consistently work for Rogers, AT&T, and T-Mobile are ismartphone 2009/3G-sim or iNex sim hacks (according to the fellas at hofo). If you don't want to pay for the iNex, ismartphone is probably the best and only choice.
I have yet to try benny's anti-cpr but that is another possibility.
Darn it, my best bet is inex hypersim, since i hear so many drop calls using ismartphone hypersim, and i can't afford to waste money on stupid hypersim. Thanks for the info NyquiNunu. ^^
Hi... I recently bought a docomo that came with a ismartphone hyper sim I believe? It's just like a sticker that goes on top of my sim card... yeah. When the battery was low it completely dropped the signal and I couldn't get it back for hours. My sim card is Rogers 4000 series, 3G. Is there another one that is available? I live in Vancouver, Canada so do you knwo where I could get them?
i've tried an iSmartphone (pre-09 version) but it would constantly drop the signal..i haven't tried benny's anti-cpr as i haven't looked into the responses and reviews from the users at hardwarezone and else where yet. will definitely consider getting one.
there is 3G support using iNex. it was the setting it was on when i first unlocked it. however, i believe you can only make calls and not receive under 3G.
step 5: you need to copy the swf file to the phone in order to use it as with any other file. the file should now appear in My Pictures under data transfer and you can thus set it as the standby.
theres and english manual on the Docomo site that is rather helpful in telling you which folders correspond with which files.
ps. sorry about the result yesterday you must be pretty gutted =[
Again thank you for the advice, what a great phone! So far so good, I have only had to CPR the phone twice. I am using some no name sim hack. Gonna try to use an old Cingular 2G sim card, see if that will be more stable reception wise.
P.S. Gutted, Shocked, Disappointed, but most of all Hopeful. I want to see an all new side come out of this mess, one that will fight hard game in and game out and be proud to wear the Black N' White every time they step on that pitch!
Oh, let me know how that works out with the 2G and if you are getting another hypersim. i haven't had to CPR with inex just turn the phone off and on if signal goes out.
Yeah, its a terrible thing no matter what anyone says. ffs Newcastle get 48K at SJP each game... its never a good thing to see. yeah itll be interesting who stays and who goes....Coloccini should just quit football lol.
basically it can only be used to call and send sms txts. there is no internet/gps/1seg unless you have a docomo sim (meaning you have a contract in japan). that said its definitely got that exotic feel to it considering fujitsu will stop making models with its specs and design for future releases.

One more note.
On any docomo phones, it should be on GPRS mode, for stability, not GSM. GSM should appear only on Softbank Phones.
To get GPRS, you should do a initial CRP.
1. Take your SIM card and put it on a NON-3G phone (Do not use LG or Nokia, i find any blackberry phone awesome doing initial CRP).
2. Observe the Signal and what mode is it on. if you see 3G, try another phone, it should be GSM, EDGE (ATT) or GPRS.
3. Make a phone call, make sure it actually rings and someone answers it. ^^

Hi,
I finally got mine! Question for you, how do you get the flash display to show up on your phone? thanks again, your video inspired me to get mine.
ToonFan 2 years ago
awesome news and congrats!youll be needing a micro sd card + card reader unless you have the docomo usb for data transfers.
step 1: copy one of the pre-installed flash images on the phone to the sd card. this creates the folder for flash images.
step 2: using a card reader or usb (with phone set to microsd mode) find the folder that was created in step 1 called "STILL"
step 3: rename your swf files STIL0000...STIL0001..and so on and place them in the folder.
step 4: sync the sd

Hi i have one question.
There is a option to copy/move preinstalled flash image on the phone (F-01A), but my phone its grayed out (meaning can't move or copy it).
is it possible due to hypersim restriction?
i'm still using Mr. Sim Hypersim, the one that came with the phone. The hypersim is ok, i get stable signal except out in the country side.
exconvictriddick 2 years ago
Hmm, is your phone reading the microsd ok? Can you move any preinstalled display images?
NyquilNunu 2 years ago
do you know any other sites that has WVGA Flash clock or images(animation?)?
exconvictriddick 2 years ago
got a question for ya....
have to tried other hypersim such as iSmartPhone Hypersim or Benny's anti-CPR hypersim???
Is there a 3G support for inex hypersim???
i think they should have one by now. i'm not sure. ^^ thanks

So calls and text only. Got it. I really want to bite the bullet and get one now. That flash menu looks p.i.m.p.
The derby was nuts! So much riding on this outcome. I hope the Toon can beat the drop!
Thanks for the response.
Congrats on the phone!
