Fragile X is a X link defect affecting the methylation and expression of the FMR1 Gene. It is the 2nd most common cause of genetic mental retardation. It is nucleotide repeat disorder of CGG.

with Mental Retardation.I'm not saying your labeling people I have Aspergers I went to a Doctor and he asked if I had any learning disablilities in my family.I said to the Doctor idk he said I should get tested for fragile X,I graduated with a High School Diploma and a AA Degree I plan to go to study pre med in college to become a Doctor.If I have fragile X well then I have it if not it dosen't bother me.
