Loads of fun the gopro cam. Save yourself a ton of hassles and always record at 60fps. Keep your head still when recording others. Use the soft rubber vibration dampener to reduce clicking noises.
Cool video bro :) @hattrick9fly > You need a editing program...for example if you own a MacBook you could use iMovie. And if your Mac doesn't have HD graphics you will not be able to upload @ 1080P, just 720P.
This was my very 1st vid and I had zero clue as to what I was doing. It took me about a week to put this together and now YOU TUBE blocks out most of my song choices even though I own the music. .
all my high action stuff is done at 720p / 60fps because the vids come out smoother. You problably know this though.
Currently I'm using AVS for you. It's good but you can't make long movies with it. 5 minutes is about all it can handle. I just rebuilt my computer so I might beable to do 10-20 minute vids now

I disagree clshad3s. 60FPS is only good if you are saving to your own drive or creating a DVD. If you upload to YouTube or other sites their codec sets 60+ fps to 30. It skips every other frame.
i just picked up a GoPro Hero and I cant get 1080p quality.. i mean its not crap but I though it would be cleaner than this.. My roomie is heading up to Big White today :)
You don't wanna waste your day recording at 1080p the FPS isn''t fast enough and the video comes out choppy. Record all high action stuff at 720/60fps. This was one of the 1st vids I ever made and had NO idea what I was doing with either the edtiting software I just bought and the compressions or codecs I should be using. Suffice to say I spent another 1200 dollars on my computer to make the whole process easier.
Very nice, I hope to be recording my races pretty soon here with the newly acquired GoPro

Here is a piece of advice... for fast action stuff use the 720 60fps setting or you will be wasting your time.
