Atleast PD did spend alot of time on real racing tracks while modelling them, good thing they arent as lazy as those Turn10 guys who just look from googlemaps how track goes and models it from there, kinda. Nurb is so much better made in GT serie than in Forza serie, ALOt of difference.

im disappointed. he made us wait 5 years. and only 200/1000 cars looks stunning and have a cockpit view. the rest, are just normal detailed cars. and there are too many car variations in the game. there is like, 50 Skyline variations.

im happy with Forza's system, 1 R34, lets move on. not friggin, R34 V Spec, R34 Nur etc.

@SPAZZY1912 Yeah, basically it is. Still, they changed the driving physics. But 5 years is a lot of time. 2 Forza games came out and honestly they were not a lot worse than GT5. It certainly is a very good game but I was expecting something huge. Btw. the R34 V Spec II and Nur had different engines (not exactly but Nur had stronger components). But AFAIR there was no benefit from this in GT4 and I suspect there is no benefit from this in GT5 either.

Actually, the issue about Gran Turismo is that it focus a lot on consumer cars and Japanese cars. (Which I think most people don't give a damn about.) It needs to focus more on race spec cars, like the Le Mans series etc...

I have tried the G25 steering wheel on GT5 PROLOGUE but there where several problems, clutch did not work properly and the wheel was slow to respond ingame so it was very very hard to drive "not realistic", And there where no setup for G25 so i could fiks the unrealistic response of the wheel :(

@TallDudeSSj i have DFP when GT5 Prologue came and when G27 came out i bought it and has the same problem but only with the shifters at the back of the steering wheel...the wheel respond is really good ...and for you i tell that they fix it when GT Academy demo with the Nissan came and G27 brings leds with shifters for the RPM and it worked too!! ...so be sure that your G25 and my G27 will work perfectly at the game. Note: i tested with GT4 and worked fine but not the leds. G25 works too.

But if Gran Turismo wasn't owned by sony, HELL YES!!!!! it would be even more epic on PC, however PS3 is the only console to use bluray, so imagine the number of DVD discs required for the PC version.

This guy is not doing this demo justice. A lot of fun could have been had if he took all the driver's aids offline.

For example, the first turn could be made at about 50 mph. The second turn could have been made on 4th gear without the use of brakes. Hocheichen: miserably failed - the whole section could have been done beautifully on 3rd gear. Flugpatz: also fail
