A lot of people say that the only thing people appreciate about the film is its visuals. If that were the case, I would actually call this a good trailer..... which I don't. I like the 2nd trailer a thousand times better because it explains the plot more and expresses more emotion.

Avatar had to be one of the biggest non-events of all time. Overly long , dull and boring, I have no idea what the fuss was all about. Granted the special effects were brilliant, but the movie was not worthy of it's success...perfect example how a worldwide audience will allow themselves to be brainwashed into watching garbage via clever marketing!!!!!

A beautiful movie with a great plot complimented by superb acting and visuals; sure the storyline might not be unique

(example: dances with wolves) but Cameron did his best to jazz it up and I think the sci-fi element brings it to a whole

new level. Probably the best movie of the year - I don't think we'll see one like it for quite some time.
