And like in the older games there seemed to be much more gameplay, even after you finish the story. But after the third one ended there wasn't much to do :c
I loved fable tlc more than any other game I have ever owned but i despised fable 2 but I kind of enjoyed fable 3 although the backstory is sketchy I mean what the hell is the crawler and where is scythe at least in fable 2 he is mentioned and of course I disliked the sanctuary and the lack of a health bar but u could say it is more realistic but wat about legendary weapons there in shops they aren't legendary there usual and they look the same but in fable 2 there was no point in getting them

I mean Fable 3 was just to horribly short, and replayability really pointless. If they made it longer, and made the difficulty more progressive OR at least made some kind of MMO out of it there would be a reason to customize your character and a reason to seek out the legendary weapons.
The first time I heard of Fable was from a friend who was playing Fable 2. I actually played Fable 2 first and liked it so much I decided to play the 1st one. I didn't even finish it. I thought they did a huge improvement in the 2nd and 3rd and updated it. But that's just me. Can't wait for the 4th one.
@elinorsantiago21 I actually played Fable 2 first too and after playing 1 I do agree that they improved gameplay wise but for 2 and 3 they kinda lost the Fable-ish feel of it and kind of got a tad boring with the plot. I hope Fable 4 will be a great improvement. Seriousy, I wish that Peter Molyneux would read these comments.

@DrPerki Yeah,even though they improved the gameplay throughout the years, they lost all the legend and magic that made Fable. And the character development is getting worse. For example, he entire time I was playing 3, I wanted to hit Paige with a shovel, same with Elliot/Elise. The only good characters were Ben Finn and Reaver.
LOVE Reaver. He's the guy you love to hate, then you love to love. Rinse and repeat, yet it hasn't gotten old yet. I'd like to see more of his backstory, or hell even a spin off of HIS BACKSTORY would make a better game than what we're being shown.

the original fable for xbox was the only good fable game, 2 was the biggest let down because of how awesome the original one was. but 2 and 3 sucked balls. and my opinion 3 was way better then 2. and to call any of the last two games amazing is just wrong, they were an amazingly huge let down. they sould have stopped after the first one, or when they realized two was a huge failure. i will never buy another fable without playing it first.

They better not make it too much like Fable 2 and 3, I know those 2 games are joined together in many ways but me and a lot of people would agree I think that Fable 3 was boring after the main storyline, most of the bonus things had been done in Fable 2 which was brilliant but not fun again. Just make sure you don't make Fable too modern ans not too sad which it always seems to be.
i thnk some of the stuff they started in fable 2 is good like a job or dye , the famly features, and the dogs pretty B A. but TLC was best because it was much simpler, i kno fable TLC like the back of my hand, and the time it takes place in is perfect. the fables are getting too late in time. I say fable 4 takes place befor TLC with the first old kingdom. tht would be so epic , stuff talked about in TLC multiple times.
Fable: The Journey is not Fable 4 according to places I’ve looked. The normal Fable series takes place following the Bloodline (Hero's Bloodline) while The Journey is a parallel game. The Journey follows a different character instead of the Hero's Bloodline and is supposed to take place anywhere between 5-50 years after Fable 3. Meaning if this were Fable 4, it would follow the Bloodline course (Or at least I hope so) meaning you be playing the same character from 3 or at least be related.
lost chapters was the best because it was difficult they got rid of everything in the second 1 all of guile gone all the awesome spells and in the third they used guild seals wats that shit its way better to improve ur character with your fighting style i say they make a full rpg for fable and set it up like the first 1 i.e. the best 1 give it a cool name like fable legends and u need an awesome game that kinect can work with its not a bad idea but u'd need to have a good game

Fable 2 wasn't bad at all. I liked fable to just as much as fable 1. I didn't like fable 3 simply because maybe they were hyping it up to much. Also, the story didn't seem to interest me as much as the other ones did. You have plenty to do and exploring but it just didn't capture me as the first two did. Hopefully this one will be better and have a great story line.

Fable 4 should be about jack of blades returning. Jack kills the king infront of his son/daughter for the bloodlines power. So he can locate the sword of eons. Theresa then takes the son/daughter to the spire. In whitch they will go back in time. (fable 1-2-3) and learn the ways of the hero. And get a legendary weapon. And then in the end u get to choose, join jack, and be a evil ruler, or defeat him and be a glorious ruler.
I would say shovelware, but the kinect has been out a while. It will most likely have all the markings of shovelware after all that has become the Fable way

Fable- one of the best games ever made, a masterpiece. Fable II- amazing game, 2 thumbs up. Fable III- okay, not that great, really slow and boring, B-. fable the journey- garbage piece of shit that can't even be called a true fable game.
Fable 4 should be set in the time of electricity where you are the son of a president or something and some agent knows your a hero from long ago idk how that would all turn out though.

I completed fable 1 around 20 timers! Fable 2 only 2 times and fable 3 only 1 time. they need to fix the magic system like it was in the number 1. what was fun with fable was to have alot of different options in spells. the spells in the recent games are booring.

In my opinion fable 3 was really good, it didn't have a lots of glitches in it like fable 2 it felt kinda short thoughT___T. I never played 1 so I can't say how it runs or how its better than 2 or 3, but the story itself and the plots of the entire series is so amazing to me, because it all connects somehow,(other than involving the heroes). I just hope they make fable 4 more extended with the stories and bring back axes and bludgoening maces and throw in some more interesting love interests.

They better not make it too much like Fable 2 and 3, I know those 2 games are joined together in many ways but me and a lot of people would agree I think that Fable 3 was boring after the main storyline, most of the bonus things had been done in Fable 2 which was brilliant but not fun again. Just make sure you don't make Fable too modern ans not too sad which it always seems to be.

i thnk some of the stuff they started in fable 2 is good like a job or dye , the famly features, and the dogs pretty B A. but TLC was best because it was much simpler, i kno fable TLC like the back of my hand, and the time it takes place in is perfect. the fables are getting too late in time. I say fable 4 takes place befor TLC with the first old kingdom. tht would be so epic , stuff talked about in TLC multiple times.

Fable: The Journey is not Fable 4 according to places I’ve looked. The normal Fable series takes place following the Bloodline (Hero's Bloodline) while The Journey is a parallel game. The Journey follows a different character instead of the Hero's Bloodline and is supposed to take place anywhere between 5-50 years after Fable 3. Meaning if this were Fable 4, it would follow the Bloodline course (Or at least I hope so) meaning you be playing the same character from 3 or at least be related.

Fable 2 wasn't bad at all. I liked fable to just as much as fable 1. I didn't like fable 3 simply because maybe they were hyping it up to much. Also, the story didn't seem to interest me as much as the other ones did. You have plenty to do and exploring but it just didn't capture me as the first two did. Hopefully this one will be better and have a great story line.

Fable 4 should be about jack of blades returning. Jack kills the king infront of his son/daughter for the bloodlines power. So he can locate the sword of eons. Theresa then takes the son/daughter to the spire. In whitch they will go back in time. (fable 1-2-3) and learn the ways of the hero. And get a legendary weapon. And then in the end u get to choose, join jack, and be a evil ruler, or defeat him and be a glorious ruler.
Btw we need total use of the spire.

@nafaka12 I think too much people complain about Fable 3, it didn't have such a bad gaming experience. In fable 3 you even get shrunk into a mini RPG game on a side quest. Fable 3 was good, it was missing more, but it was still good. I agree that Fable 4 WILL SUCK ASS though.

I loved the Fable games and, personally, 2 was my favorite. But now I am extremely disappointed that this is going to be for the Kinect. Don't get me wrong, this looks beautiful and amazing like all the other games but I'm not going to get a Kinect just to play this. I would totally buy it if it were for the Xbox though. Lionhead should just make it for the Xbox and make a special bonus one for Kinect :c

I completed fable 1 around 20 timers! Fable 2 only 2 times and fable 3 only 1 time. they need to fix the magic system like it was in the number 1. what was fun with fable was to have alot of different options in spells. the spells in the recent games are booring.

If you had played fable 1 yyou would realise how bad 2 and 3 is compared to it. lionhead should make - Fable 4: rise of the old kingdom, where your character is in the old kingdom with the old gods and heros like archon and the 3 legedary heros.

@BlackGale6969 Well I wouldn't go as to say Fable 2 ruined the Fable franchise. It was alright, but we could have done without it and Fable could have ended with The Lost Chapters. When comparing the games, the trilogy seems to go downhill (with an extreme amount of steepness). I reckon the only thing I cared for in Fable 2 was the Spire from the Old Kingdom, and in Fable 3 the Crawler.

In my opinion fable 3 was really good, it didn't have a lots of glitches in it like fable 2 it felt kinda short thoughT___T. I never played 1 so I can't say how it runs or how its better than 2 or 3, but the story itself and the plots of the entire series is so amazing to me, because it all connects somehow,(other than involving the heroes). I just hope they make fable 4 more extended with the stories and bring back axes and bludgoening maces and throw in some more interesting love interests.
