  • I have a SATA Drive and I install WINXP with the original cd with no problem.

  • @MrLifeIsBeautiful ur welcome !

  • SHOW SOME RUNONCE COMMAND SCRIPT PLEASE NICE VID

  • Can you make a vid about pushing the iso to a pc, through the network? That might be asking too much :)

  • Mikethy, stop posting for the rest of your life. You racist, inbred, red neck, useless piece of trash.

  • The real snag with Nlite is that it doesn't explain what all the things I can remove actually do.

    ..

Some of the options are just very brief notes that say - If you need this, don't remove it.

  • do know that you can build a os out windows xp windows 2000 windows server 2003

  • hey man i need help can you send me the sata driver

  • This is scary If you read this far you will die in 10days if you don't send to any 15 videos in 2hours good luck hope you don't die!!!!!

  • great tutorial, thanks for this. good :)

  • When i'm locating the ISO file

it says make sure that selected folder contains "i386" or "AMD64" directory and proper windows installation files.

What it means that ? How do i find that files ?

  • How to integrate applications themes and wallpaper??

  • i did that once but i forgot how i did it

  • Man I can't find the SATA Drivers that you show in your video for this. It's annoying not being able to reinstall XP PRO on a HP laptop. You got a Link to download the SATA Drivers?

  • Can this be used to add, say... a users favorite software (i.e. winamp, acdsee, winrar, etc) like I see on alot of "custom editions" of XP? I don't like the premade stuff I've seen, but I could see customizing one for my own uses. Not sure if this is the route they take.

  • it sure can, all you have to do is check out the app section.

let me know if you have any problems

    Nfixit

  • must you put a sata card for that or you can simply connect the ports?

  • the reason for integrating sata drivers. is because if your using a sata harddrive to install windows, and windows dont have the sata driver support you will get the " harddrvie not found error"

    hope this helps

  • Hi !

Do know how to remove the Windows Firewall in Nlite ?

(Im going to replace it with an other Firewall)

  • You dont have to remove the firewall, just disable it inside of windows. then you can use your third party firewall with out windows firewall interrupting it

    hope this helps

  • I cant find my SATA on the XP CD or the CD with the Moderboard

  • Hi, man!

    I have a Sony VAIO VGN-NS110FH laptop.

I visited the Sony VAIO official web site and found drivers for xp, but they are .exe not .inf, what can I do? Or how can I convert them to .inf?

  • Dont worry .exe is ok, it will perform the driver installation for you. if all you had was the .inf file you will have to go through the process (in device manager) to show windows the driver for that particular device. so all n all an .exe file is OK

    NFIXIT

  • i cant find my sata driver folder in vista...

  • doesn't this guy sound like p.diddy?????...lol

  • P. DIDDY????

    LOL Never heard that one

    NFIXIT

  • i have dvd-r xp black edition 4.2gb ... i need to copy it in 3 cd-r... nlite can help?

  • I Dont think Nlite will help you with this

    NFIXIT

  • thanks

  • Your welcome!

    NFIXIT

  • I have used Nlite successfully before however I have bought a used computer, it has XP PRO SP3 installed.

I want to make a backup, I have located I386 folder, WINNT and WINNT32 files are in this directory however when I point Nlite to this directory - it prompts me to insert the XP cd.

Why is Nlite unable to recognise this I386 directory as the installation folder ?

How can I check what files are missing from the I386 folder, can I use software to do this ?

  • You have to use the CD to make a backup copy of windows xp when using NLITE. What you can do is clone your harddrive and and copy it to a new one etc. but you will carry over what ever problems the current installation have will come to the new system

    hope this helps

    NFIXIT

  • I used nLite on Windows 2000. It does not

work on 98! Nlite is only for 2000/Xp!

    VLite is for Windows Vista.

insprine 531 or the inf files holla back fame asap

  • I dont really understand your question. But if you update to SP3 you shouldnt have to active windows xp if you have the right serial on your system already

  • Nice tutorial man!

  • GISPERO anything is possible in computer world. I can not guarantee that theres a customized ISO's that will do the work for you from the NLITE developers but theres probably a user who developed a customized a personal ISO that will fit your needs. just goggle it, you should find an answer!

  • Is it possible to download Nlite instruction files that allows Nlite to build a customised ISO without the need to specify any tweaks.

Is it possible for Nlite to generate a file which has the instructions of how to figure an XP ISO therefore allowing users to avoid configuring the ISO build.

  • Thanks for the update jr4594 I will have a tutorial for "vlite" in the near future

  • the version for vista is called vlite, they should have kept it nlite though

  • your welcome and thank you

  • thanks for this video good job 10+
