you should look on hobbyzone dot com, they have very good planes. I had a firebird commander 2 and it flied great!!! but rather buy a 3 or a 4 channel plane that is ready to fly (RTF).
so can you buy a mini jet engine liek that or do alot of people just build it themselfs?

You buy them. Jetcat makes some good ones. They range from $2500 to $5000 depending on size and thrust.
