no man, I'm a perfectionist, ESPECIALLY, when it comes to graphics, there was a time when my game was stuttering even a little bit, it would drive me insane, until I realized it was my background defragmenter. So if my game was stuttering at 60 hz, it would drive me crazy, and I would notice. (To me) 60hz, is perfectly smooth, 60hz is the maximum amount that movies are filmed at... So you must be having a horrible movie watching experience as well, lol

The 60FPS you see in the counter is the average of the fluctuations, it still bounces below 50 and above 70, even more depending on the game. TF2, for example, bounces between 40 and 110 when it says I have 50FPS. CoD4's are less pronounced, but still there.

motion blur in games tries to emulate what the world looks like when you move your head, surely you can't focus on everything at once. thus you get a "blur" effect, I think it's done quite well in games, when you don't have motion blur in games, it looks plain, adding the blur adds more realism.

60 is double eye level, meaning super smooth, higher than 70, you'll know what a real computer can do.
