Renaissance were the pioneers of New Age Music. Novella is still my favorite all time album for this genre. Annie is the Voice from Heaven. These are Extraordinary musicians that arrange and play music like I have never heard before. They have no equal.
@sgold1 It all has to do with attention span. Many people don't even care about musicianship these days. It's completely about image. I'm still thinking about the phaser on that rickenbacker bass. This is really compelling melody, sound, and concept in one package.
Yes. I have that on a bootleg DVD. Great show!!!! But I'm trying to find Ian Anderson's appearance on the Midnight Special from June 26, 1976. It's just an interview with him. I saw it as a kid. I know the Midnight Special has now released a lot of shows on DVD... but they never released that one with Ian.
Beautiful!

After listening to a masterpiece like this you can't stop wondering how have we gone from Bach to Rap in one generation?....

I love Tull too.
Would you have Ian Anderson's appearance on the Midnight Special from June 1976? It's impossible to find.

Love Jon Camp's bass playing in this performance, like a "lead bass guitar". :)
All the others were great also!
