I had 4 babies in the garden and did not see them until 4-5 days B4 the Mom said ENOUGH..I watched Her feed them at 10 PM on my sidewalk..They hung around for 1 week..It was so much fun 2 see this..Good video..How did You do this without Mom seeing You?
A couple days ago, I found my cat chasing a little baby cottontail. My dad and I wanted to make sure the cat hadn't injured, so we went outside and the cat ran off. My dad got the bunny and we took it inside. We tried to feed it but it wouldn't eat. The next day i went to a friend's house and spent the night. The day after that i called to check up on it and my mom told me it had passed away that morning. It made me sad because we tried to save it from the cat, and killed it our selfs. js
It's beautiful to see the animals in their natural habitat. Much better than keeping them in a cage. Animals should not be in cages. Thanks for posting.
Nature is wonderful and creation is a beautiful mystery.
Although presenting themselves as food and prey to natural predators like me, they do look tottaly hopeless. Im Native so I respect them in every way, even though I have hunted over 100 of them. Well keep going little bunnies!!!!

I have never seen them feed from Mom. I am a rehabber and I often am asked about that. Great video!
