I knew of this song before Kanye's sampling of it in Power, I do have to say though Kanye's sampling of it gives Power an extra dynamic & hook. It's holds the song together & makes it quite a good listen; at least to me. Sure the lyrics he puts alongside the sample & the hypnotic chanting backing vocals aren't the most brilliant but it's still a good song to listen to. Sure 21st Century Schizoid Man has a lot to offer in itself but sampling used in a right way can make another song better.
