  • Note to all players who like this game and still play it like myself if you need help on beating the floting mines in this level just stay low all the way and you will never get hit it works for me try it.

  • Yup.

Friendly fire with punches that can throw your partner cross-screen, and no saves or checkpoints.

    I love it.

  • Yeah I gave up when I rented this as a small kid. You just don't have the reflexes for this game at a young age.

  • This is real gaming.

  • Having said that, I'll add that this, and probably Mike Tyson's Punch-Out are the true tests of one's gaming skills and patience.

There's no hiding behind a wall to gain your life back after being shot 7 times, no cheat codes, no overpowered unlocks, it's all reflexes and proactive thinking.

This perticular game is merciless, though. Punch-out is a cake-walk (for me) until Tyson, then you die.

I only managed to beat Tyson once, and it was in front of 6 friends a year ago, cried for joy.

  • @godofnopants

Ghosts and Goblins wants to know why it isnt on your list.........

    D:

  • Ghosts and goblins is systematic, memorizable. Battletoads and Punch-Out (everything is easy EXCEPT mike tyson) aren't, they're random in most cases.

If Ghosts and Goblins just spawned everything randomly and the enemies/bosses never behaved the same way every time, it'd be harder than Punch-Out. Mike Tyson is the only thing that makes Punch-Out hard, but he ends up making it so hard that it's damn-near impossible.

  • You sir have mad SKI||Z

  • Oh my! That is insane!!!!
