Hi I got a couple of questions. 1. Do you actually do it with your eyes open or close?. 2. is it normal to actually feel the energy before going to bed?, let me explain because for some reason i know hours before going to bed that i am going to get sleep paralysis. the other day i actually started to move my leg but i felt them move like in a energy level but they where not moving while my eyes where open and for some reason i started to float up and got a couple of inches in the air,
I can definitely relate to the vibrations, Rich. Sometimes, it feels like I'm lying on a massage pillow. At times, I'll feel like everything underneath me when I'm lying in bed is doing the same thing. That's when I start to pick up a lot of ringing in my ears not related to any kind of tinnitus or blood pressure issues. I'm working on the techniques you've been teaching us. I'm also seeing a lot of green, blue, or purple blobs of brilliant colors. Thanks again, Rich. Don
Last night was the closest ive ever gotten to out of body, and its interesting how you said at some joints you stay connected to your physical body. Last night i stayed connected at my left knee. in my experience i just saw dark blue and i felt as if i was hanging up side down by that one knee. it felt amazing because i was swinging back and forth and i felt the wind blowing on my face and through my hair.
@jordyybrackin - It's a great feeling for sure getting out -even if it's partially out. I forget where I read about how our second body can get stuck at the joints - it was like in 1989 - and there's a little exercise you could do which was to 'imagine' moving your second body in an out at the joints. I gotten part way out -all but head (stuck at neck joint) and all but feet - stuck at ankles - so I'm going yeah, this makes sense.
@jordyybrackin - That's cool Man! That wind blowing - weird huh, you can actually find some really strong currents sometimes and jump in them and get your ass blown across the universe! lol, it's really fun, and safe.
It's funny, but I did what you are telling way before you told it, and I've had success. It's been a long time since I last experienced Sleep Paralysis.
it happened again, but the paralysis never kicked in. just the ringing in my ears came on.....then jibberish laughter but i was awake. then it was gone. for the first time in months. it happened 2 nights ago. i think its more of a spiritual battle to fight god puts only chosen people through. the fucked up part was...it happened...but this time i wasnt in a state of paralysis. i feel more confident than before..more aware of whats happening. tell me whats up? cause idk what to think....?
well, rich. i find it interesting that last comment. but dont you find it weird that it stopped with the wisdom teeth? what can i try to get it back.....orange juice, chocolate, shit with glueten in it?, go back and visit my parents for a night or two?, jw. or maybe i cant. during these times this shit frightened me and i opened up to god. everytime it happened it got worse, and worse. more scary from the first. becuase thats what i expected, as if it was always going to be unpleasent.
@kylemarkglidden - What has changed? Maybe something has changed, which has caused the SP to stop (maybe not). But, ok, wisdom teeth out, changed from parents house to apt. What else? Then there's the fear thing, the scary thing. Maybe its not abt what changed (although I would look into that further). It could be the fear/scary thing has built up to a point that subconsciously you are not allowing yourself to experience the sp. Wake up stay up for 20 min. Go back to sleep - might help.??
I want to try this. But I've researched you normally tend to only have sp episodes where you naturally feel the most safest. For example: a parents house. Now I have an apartment, I haven't been able to have any sp at all. And the weirdest part of this is, since the day I had my wisdom teeth out all four to be exact. They've stopped!!! Now, I've had them since I was very little up until last winter...but no further. I'm 23 now, my question is...how do I get it back? To experiment, not to be fri
@kylemarkglidden - 1) Sleep paralysis has to do with yur body falling asleep, and YOU spiritually staying awake... or waking back up shortly after the body falls asleep, but without waking up the physical body. Getting your teeth out, the anesthetics used could have affected your 'going to sleep' and 'staying awake' 'thing'. Also the changing places where you sleep, the apartment. Perhaps there's too much electrical interference, like too close to electric meters or something. Also...
@Rich2150x 2) also look at other changes (from your parents house to the apartment) that may affect the sleep pattern or arrangements... like different job or routine, sleeping with another person in the bed, different city, different ambient sounds, different times going to bed or getting up, different diet, different amount of time in sunlight or different amount to exercise or diet changes - stuff like that. If ya get it back, let me know how ya did it. Good luck.
@6ixStringDemon - keep physical eyelids closed, and you actually do see the room with your non-physical eye sight, when you are out or when you have shifted consciousness sufficiently enough.
@6ixStringDemon ah ok thanks man and is this part of the OBE where you start drifting off into your own world liek get lost in your thoughts because i get that alot when im attempting and OBE and when i realise it i snap out of it still lying there eyes closed ect is that mym ind preparing for a OBE or is that me falling asleep lol sorry for the questions :) thanks
@6ixStringDemon - when you drift off into your own world do you see vivid imagery? And if so can you control it, or is it kinda like a dream? Or is it more a mental thinking thing, and you are sort a talking and thinking and stuff and drifting off more that way than visually?
@Rich2150x I see imagery but im also thinking only a little but then i realise whats going on and i snap out of it when its happening it feels like im going Inside my head if thats me about to have a OBE how do i stop myself snapping out of it? And also i imagin myself fallin down a well and i focus on my forehead i feel my heart race and getting lighter but it dont last no matter how much i try i keep imagin gettin stronger got any tips my friend thanks :) -6SD
hey rich Does swallowing ruin the obe? ive had it a few times where im lying there and swallowed just by reflex does it ruin it for yo? im hoping to have a OBE soon been trying for over a week now :)
@6ixStringDemon - with swallowing, the trick is to go ahead and fall asleep. Trying to stay awake and then having the swallow reflex going AND your attention on it, can cause you to stay awake and cause your body to stay awake both. Just go ahead and go to sleep (both body and YOU). The wake up later. It's the 'wake-up-then back to sleep method' similar to the W.I.L.D (wake induced lucid dream) technique - you can study that at 'dreamviews' forum.
I am a quadriplegic on a wheelchair and I have no sensation below the nipple line, plus my leg muscles are always tense/tight. Can I still astral project?
@hummingbir6 - Sorry it took so long to get back to you, youtube didn't notify me. Anway... Yes, I do believe you can still project. What's required (bottom line) is Being Awake while your body is asleep. So every nite, as your body goes to sleep, you have the opportunity to practice either staying awake while it goes to sleep (which will get you stage 1 of Sleep Paralysis) or waking back up later while your body remains asleep. 2 things you can practice are quiet mind and be here now stuff
do you have any tips to get over fear during sleep paralysis? I understand AP and OOBE but upon achieving sleep paralysis I am always overwhelmed with panic and fear.
@nicholaswheeler - Yes, for a lot of us the sp thing isn't so easy. The work around is the go from lucid dream to obe. Or even from dreaming to obe. I have done a lot fo them that way. But either way ya go, it's about being awake while the body is asleep and being aware that you are awake and aware (and not in your physical body.
@Rich2150x - Try the pre-sleep nap. In other words take a nap abt 6-9pm, before your regular sleep (thus pre-sleep). The idea is that you plan on waking up soon - not sleeping all night, but definitely plan on going to sleep too. There' way more to this approach but here ya have the intent to go to sleep - and the intent to wake up soon too -most oobes seem to happen before or after a longer sleep period - i.e a nap sort of thing - we wake up at 3 am, go back to sleep (ie nap - then obe.)
this is probably exactly what i experience. when i try to obe, i get so far to where i lay there for about 1 hour 30 min, 2 hours most, I cant really feel my arms or feet anymore and my hand or fingers feel like theyre floating off by themselfs. but i if i try to move them very little, i notice a little tension in my physical body. Laying there for an hour to 2 hours, i never get vibrations either. i will sometimes feel jolts in my hands but then they go away. all's numb except my head and chest
@CloudandZack1st - sleep paralysis and 'feeling numb from not moving for long periods' are not the same, but can be confused. With SP, you can't move jack, its a weird feeling, but numb isn't exactly the descriptive word for it. Feeling numb and finding it hard to move is different. You may be experiencing sp, but I can't tell from your descriptions here. When you try to move your body, can you? That's one of the main 'tests'.
@CloudandZack1st - sounds like you are not getting to sp at this time. I've been known to sit hours, not moving, trying to not think.. not sp, no vibrations, just feeling numb like no blood circulation numb. What's missing in your opractice is taht the physical body has to go to sleep (or go into deel trance) we are talking brain wave patterns here as well, leaving beta & alpha and going into low alpha or theta, delta is regular sleep and is usually too deep for us to remember what happened but
@Rich2150x ...but the point is if the body doesn't get relaxed enough to go to sleep (or deep trance) there won't be sp or vibs. And part of getting the body to sleep is not just not moving the body but quieting the mind way down... so we are not thinking, or if thinking its subtle, and not very much and is not thinking in the beta range. Doing your exrecises and practice when the body is really tired can help. Obversely, doing it after the body is well rested also works sometimes - go figure.
Watch the door over the left shoulder (right of screen) at about :30 to :35. There appears to be an orb or entity slightly out of phase. Or perhaps it is only a reflection or artifact :-)
in sp do we "see anything" or is it the "void" most people talk about. and should we be "seeing anything" like should we see our astral hands and legs or is it more about imagining these things first or would that cause Astral Blindness?
@ethanhines - in sp (for me) it's me being out of phase disconnected from the physical body, so I cant move it. The thing abt seeing things, is a different subject or step sorta. After SP kicks in, the next step is often automatic, & that is that you shift consciousness so that spiritually you're in another vibrational realm... at which point you can often hear things non-physical & sometimes see things too. Lifting out of the body & getting away from it, is yet another step. Hope this helps.
@ethanhines - For me it has not. The clear sounds of a non-physical nature seem to - but not the visuals. HI (hynagogic imagery that comes just between the awake and asleep state) is where the imagery kicks in - & i think that's because the Being has let go of the physical reality & the physical body sufficiently enough (if not completely) so that their attention & spiritual vision can 'kick in' and we see 'channels', like channel surfing, flipping channels/images quickly, grab 1 & hold on!
@Rich2150x - If you can 'grab onto one, & hold onto the image, you are actually grabbing onto a reality system & stablizing a 'channel' in consciousness, from the you can move into it fully and it can become a full blown obe. I did the research and the it really did work that way! Some people will discountthe hypnagogic imagery as useless or meaningless, but I say they are dooways or portals into the gher realms... but it takes practice or talent to grab one and hold on to it - but its do-able.
@aidsburgerinparidise - I wish it was a simple answer. It isn't. How to stay in that state? It takes concentration practice. practice staying focused (you can do that while wide awake here the physical. It aslo takes energy of sorts. (pracice breath work and kundalini energy work). And it takes quite mind discipline. When we are out of body or in SP, we need to stay focused on our objective and be quiet in mind. Cuz we tend to go where we focus and thinking wakes us back into physical reality
Well I get what your saying about imagining your second body out of the physical and then back in, but when I remain in sleep paralysis mode it hurts.. like i hear a drilling noise and it kills my head when i wake up after. So it's kinda like the longer I stay in it , the worst the pain is. Pleeasee help!
@ShaeyTrell - Ouch! That's not good! I have had intense sounds in my head with sp but it wasn't actually painful in that sense. Does it happen often? Normally I'd say stay with the drilling noise and feeling until it goes away - but I don't know abt this in your circumstances. Perhaps this has something to do with your kundalini rising? I hear strong physiological sensations can occur if the kundalini activates - I'm no expert on that - but it's something you can look into if it indicates.
@Rich2150x hmm maybe it could be. I'm not sure. It happens a few times a month. I was too scared to remain in SP again after had that severe headache. last night I was practicing for a OBE while awake and i went to the vibration stage but couldnt do anything else cuz my physical body was still wake. fun time tho lol
@94SAWA - It comes natural we all go into it when we go to sleep - what makes it wierd is when we are awake and we experience it. A problem for some people. For others we shoot for it cause we want to go out of body. So the question might be "How to get into sleep paralysis" and be awake when it happens. Not enough room here to expalinit in detail. basically practice staying awake and not moving while you watch your body go sleep. It takes LOTS practice for most people.
@Rich2150x I was waking up one morning with what I thought was someone pulling my finger, I thought who's doing that, I opened my eyes and it was not moving. Strange thing is, I had been saying to some friend, "If you see anyone who thinks they know me, give them this message from me", and I would put up my middle finger. It was the same finger that was being pulled on LOL and I did not fart either LOL
@Yanco888 - Interesting in the last week or so several people have been sharing stories of being pulled on - while their bodies are asleep. I think it's a good sign... that they didn't fart I mean. lol
@rich2150x hey rich, I had a very cool method of exiting the physical world after you get vibrations, I havnt tried this method yet but it should work, here it is: When you enter the hypnagogic state and you start to have some type of vibration, you try to image another entity in front of you and, you could try to reach your astral hand out, and try to ask him to pull you out of your physical state. maybe that information could help your viewers to exit the matrix? like in a video sometime.
thanks for your vid..very clear and easy to follow instructions.. I did get as far as move some body parts but wondered where I should go if I got completely out. I have felt at times myself floating...seems I do better when I wasn't even trying. So how do u induce the sleep parqalysis in 1st place and where should u go in the astral?
@oromuisca -sleep paralysis is basically 'mind awake- body asleep' so one way to induce it is to practice staying very still physically with a very quiet mind, and stay attentive and awake - and allow your body to fall asleep - (this takes practice and will power). Where to go - I like to ask my "total Self" to take me someplace that will help me learn and understand 'how things really are' - and just allow myself to then go with the flow. (btw, it may not be the astral)
@Rich2150x whoa! with that last sentence in parenthesis resonnating in my head...reminds me of biblical story of Jesus going down into hell for 3 days only to be resurrected..(I always took figuratively).I guess that the total "me " would have intelligence enough to figure best place for me to go for my own higher good. Thanx a million!!!!
@Rich2150x Kinda late respond, I rarely check in on this account anymore, I use DaanUniversal these days. But I almost had an OBEE a week ago. I was actually moving out a bit, but after that it stopped. Well, practice makes perfect I guess so imma keep practicing I guess, haha.

ShaeyTrell 1 year ago
@ShaeyTrell - Ouch! That's not good! I have had intense sounds in my head with sp but it wasn't actually painful in that sense. Does it happen often? Normally I'd say stay with the drilling noise and feeling until it goes away - but I don't know abt this in your circumstances. Perhaps this has something to do with your kundalini rising? I hear strong physiological sensations can occur if the kundalini activates - I'm no expert on that - but it's something you can look into if it indicates.
Rich2150x 1 year ago
@Rich2150x hmm maybe it could be. I'm not sure. It happens a few times a month. I was too scared to remain in SP again after had that severe headache. last night I was practicing for a OBE while awake and i went to the vibration stage but couldnt do anything else cuz my physical body was still wake. fun time tho lol

I hawe simple question , HOW TO GET IN SLEEP Paralysis
94SAWA 1 year ago

Strange But True.
Yanco888 1 year ago

@dylanthorner - That's sounds like an excellent technique Dylan. I'll try to remember it next time I do a video on this topic.

thanks for your vid..very clear and easy to follow instructions.. I did get as far as move some body parts but wondered where I should go if I got completely out. I have felt at times myself floating...seems I do better when I wasn't even trying. So how do u induce the sleep parqalysis in 1st place and where should u go in the astral?
oromuisca 1 year ago

Thanks for another cool vid. Imma try this out right now, its 1.14 am here, time to practice for my first OBE!

@DaanZPD - Did you ever get a chance to try it Daan? If so how'd it go?
Rich2150x 1 year ago
@Rich2150x Kinda late respond, I rarely check in on this account anymore, I use DaanUniversal these days. But I almost had an OBEE a week ago. I was actually moving out a bit, but after that it stopped. Well, practice makes perfect I guess so imma keep practicing I guess, haha.
