@234Beastyboy Oscars can grow up to full size in about 6-8 months... very fast growers and by feeding them a great balanced dite ( such as hikari meat pellets) and good water supply (regular water changes) they should grow big and healthy.
i had an oscar befor but then i got a blue texas cichlid n he killed the oscar. the texas got to big so now i have a green terror, there really beautiful wen they get big. not much to look at wen theyre small tho
How big is that tank? Two oscars, a parrot fish, a loach, and a common pleco? That thing better be 100+ unless you want problems when it comes to overstocking.
nah man 2 oscars and a parrot would be fine unless you have like a common pleco a dwarf or some sort of small one would be fine a 55 is larger than you think
55 is larger than i think....u cant say tht when i have tried it myself and havnt worked out? do u kno how big an oscar can get? ONE oscar and a parrot would do fine in a 55 gallon. but thts it
two 12 inch oscars, a 5in parrot are too much for a 55 gallon. thts wat hppnd. oscars grow pretty fast. they get from 2in to 10in in just few months. in limited space, oscars can get highly territorial. it would eventually result in your fish dying either or disease or fights.
I am looking to make a tank like this. Any advice? Is there certain fish I should put in before others? Please let me know :)

no...that'd bee too small. 2 oscars, a parrot and a pleco is too much for a 55 gallon. they might be okay for sometime but not for so long.
