for a performance test, run some real tests, not just launching un-intensive programs. We wanna see some crazy 3d rendering. or just use cinebench. Those benchmarks will not come close to the benchmark on my 6core
Hey, why did you decide to go for the higher end 2.66GHz instead of just the 2.4GHz based model and then adding a bigger hard drive? Is it really that much difference in processing power?
how does the fan sound during these two conditions?
1. Browsing web
2. Watching vidoes
I need a quiet computer. My old Toshiba laptop was noiseless. Literally, the fan was practically OFF at all times. The most noise I'd hear was a "electrical" hum that sounded as tiny as a spec of sand.
@signupsigma For both of those two things the fan is very calm from what I have noticed. So far, this computer is very quiet, I've had it for about 2 weeks and I have done some pretty intensive usage on it and have never once heard the fans at full. I would highly recommend this computer, but it sounds like you are using a PC. It would take some time to learn how to use macs, but it's worth it. If you have any more questions, I would be happy to answer them! Please subscribe, thanks!

@moldjelly Nah man the 2.66 GHz with the 4gb ram is just as good as a 2.4GHz with 2GB ram. Its wicked fast man.
