I have a mix of Texas and Alabama cause I learned to talk in Alabama my mom has an accent and then we moved to Texas, which surprisingly my accent dulled down a lot since ive lived here
Yeah Alabama and lower Tennessee have a lot of the "uh's." Also remember that we have a little syncopated rhythm to it as well. We tend to take a breath in the middle of a sentence instead of where the period would normally be if that makes any sense. We drop the last bit of each word a lot. Like you said bubble gum, it comes out like "Bubb gum." And everything is a Coke.
@Mehrunissah93 - you are right! I'm from Tennessee close to the Alabama boarder. We vacationed in Florida and ate at Cracker Barrell of all places, and the waitress asked where I was from. LOL!
@Mehrunissah93 - well I would have figured down there you'd get a good hodge podge of southern accents. Guess I blew her mashed potatoes right off that menu. LOL! I do have a really strong accent.

We don't really have that thick accent in Florida, especially Jacksonville. I wish I had that Texas accent.
